Damn. So I skipped a few versions to let the game settle in its new direction. Then tried it again 'cause this had been one of my fav games for a while. And...
For what its worth the interface plays cleaner and faster then before (aside from the annoying bit of having to click past the morning and afternoon shifts at work that don't do anything). And it gets to the action much faster, skipping a lot of tedium, front-loading more sexiness. Also hot that you now let the dude at the beginning at least somewhat bang your drunk wife. Also clarifies a lot to have you try and fail to add the two people that are corrupting your wife, so you know what's up. So credit where credit's due.
But... yea. The hotwife path is completely gone. You can pick it in the hypno choices but all she'll get is cheating and bbc vids, and then when she goes out w/ folk (boss starts feeling her up, the dude from the messenger app) she just goes ahead and dates them / lets them touch her without talking to the MC at all. For all the paths in fact (son's feminization, sister-in-law's cheating, etc) half the vids are all about bbc-superiority, no point in picking anything really, far as I can tell. And so the MC is just locked on a sub path.
Which would be ok if the game made it clear from the beginning that's where it was going instead of dangling the idea of 'choice'... and if it made any sense for the MC. Which it still doesn't. Dude's a successful owner of a giant company, with a hot wife, big dick, generally seems used to women throwing themselves at him, no history of submission, maybe some curiosity about his wife being banged or cheating (that's ok), and has added himself to the app so no one is influencing him beyond what settings you put in there (according to the game's stated logic). But for some reason he's expected to click the choice of being feminized and sissified, with no leadup, while at the same time a bevy of hot women are drooling for his dick and he seems very enthusiastic about pursuing all of them. And he's so good at being a guy, and so happy to bang these girls (risking his marraige for them) that just one night with him and they're all enthusiastically head's over heels in lust for him. And even the mind-wiped BBC-bunnies are kinda going 'you know... if I weren't brainwashed right now... yea... yea I'd wanna hit that on the regular...' And yet this presented MC is supposed to click on feminizing himself and mindwhiping himself into being gay for BBC. Just.... tempt the character into it more, offer some hint this is a character trait, blackmail him into trying it, offer money off the debt to click the button, just Something to make it make even a porn-level amount of sense. Have a hot pizza delivery girl walk over and go 'oh, you can't pay for this pizza, well how about you put on a skirt for me'. I don't know, Anything.
And the rest of it... yea... its just more of that. The wife, who is on the player's app and no one else's, her brain-flip from devoted head-over-heals in love to 'yea, I'll hit that'.... Just... introduce a second system of mind-control, like magic perfumes. Announce someone can be in multiple apps maybe. Don't let the player put her on his phone for control. I don't know, anything to make it make sense that she's changing like that in any circumstance other then the player selecting 'cheat on me' on his phone. The office-traitor keeps messaging her pics that get her motor running? Ok, use that, make them hypno-traps so those images are brainwashing the wife without her being on the wife. Hell, that could even explain the MC starting to act weird. Give Some internal reason for what's happening...

I'm going to assume that 0.4.* is all technical patches that accidentally broke some paths. And on a technical level there were totally improvements. So I'll quietly put the game away before it toally corrupts my memories of what it was just a few versions ago and pretend I don't see any updates until it goes to 0.5.*. And maybe a few patch versions past that to be sure. I really really want this game to succeed, it was awesome, just.. ok, walking away for a bit again...
