The content hasn't been removed as far as I can see and I have played a few times through the game from the beginning. It's just that the dev streamlined the beginning by splitting the previous mess into separate routes. Basically there now are a few major splits in the beginning:
1. Add Wife and MC to the App:
* NTR Off (Alpha route)
* NTR On (Beta route)
Basically all of the old content has been split in two and divided between those routes, so you need to play the game at least twice to get all the old content
2. Don't add Wife and MC to the App
* Sissy route
* Cuck route
This is the new content introduced in the new update
Well, that's cool to know, I almost got scared about the old content getting removed. However I think that's not a cool way to do it. This game is LONG as hell and playing for hours to get the content on one route and then playing it again for more hours just to get the other route's contents, then doing the shorter routes: add or don't add the wife, which should add at least some extra hours, all of that while skipping the days as fast as you can... nah man, it's not worth it. Before you basically had all the content available, it was your choice if you didn't want to do it (You just had to pause the branch, which you can't do anymore), so one playthrough with multiple choices and that's it, it worked in my opinion, the only exception was the chastity stuff which required the game to be split into two routes, but that comes pretty late in the game, so you can save that route for last so you already completed most of the stuff before it and that way you don't need to do all the stuff again in that route. That's why some of us didn't like this update if you were wondering, or well, at least that's my reason. This game should be fun and hot to play and while before it kinda felt like pain to play, now you have to multiply that by 4 with these 4 routes AT THE START OF THE GAME (so you need to play all the content you already saw 3 more times if you want to see everything). If that answers your question about some people don't liking this update... yeah, maybe not everyone but sure some of them can relate.
Also, another weird thing. As far as I remember, MC was getting teased about NTR in the Hearth branch... and with these new routes... now the branch only works if ntr is off? (I can't check it out, I already deleted the game) that doesn't make sense, Imagine disabling NTR on one route just to get NTR on that same route. Also, a more personal thing, but this means there won't be any sharing/NTR stuff with Kirely or the rest of the girls on the onlyfaps... which honestly I guess not a lot of people want but cmon man, that was a possibility, even Kirely hinted at something like that (It was a joke btw, but it could have happen with the help of the app, who knows). I'm not one of the biggest fans in NTR on those branches, but I think you always need to have the possibility, maybe some people want to see NTR with Sola or Kirely, who knows.
And yeah, I agree that at least the game now is more consistent with the story, but I think that's the only thing that needed to be fixed: the wife being faithful on one branch and then a whore on the other branch which can be solved by just giving conditions to some branches, he already did it in this update, for example certain branches won't activate or continue until the wife does something so it makes sense, and that's it, the rest of the game was fine besides maybe the skip day thing. For me this whole rework was unnecessary and it only makes the game worse to play IF you want to see all the content. Man, I love Bloody Ink, but sadly it's up to his patrons if they want a fix to this. And yeah, we could subscribe, hell, this guy was the first person that actually managed to make a game good enough for me to want to subscribe to someone on patreon for a whole year or who knows how much, but you won't make a difference if nobody on that place complain even if all the people (which is not the case, just an exaggeration) outside didn't like the update.
