Dev gave some news and screenshots on his website, he reworked "the game’s entire core, interface, and the functioning of all apps", for this reason there very few dialogues written yet. There is no real date yet.

Dev talk about fixing some bugs, optimization and adding QoL stuff, the main one is not being forced to spam the pass time button as it will pass automatically if there is no message.

Dev's last words are : "I’m sure that once the update is released, you’ll forgive me for the smaller amount of content. Believe me, it will be worth it, and the gameplay in the new version will be something you’ve never experienced before.

Didnt he said also that he will only publish an online version in future and no downloadable RPY Version anymore?

He changed his mind, online version was worse and community hated it.

Also dev's words (top of the page 335 of this thread) :
" When I started trying to switch to Unity, I realized that, most likely, I was just wasting time. I’m trying to limit access to the game for the players who love it. Yes, some people might pay me for it, some can’t, some will copy it to third-party sites immediately after release, and some will wait for the official release despite leaks. I realized that I’ve been spending more time “taking” the game away from my fans, closing myself off from them. And that’s wrong.

So, what’s the outcome?
The game will return to offline distribution. On December 25th, I will release the public version 0.6.5 for everyone. Maybe, a little later, before the New Year, I will release a small version 1.0.5.

this game needs an actual "scene" gallery. It takes forever to get to any action, if you don't have a save for every one of those moments of action you can't get back to them unless they're repeatably scenes (which are very shallow), and the only other thing you get are static pictures. It turns an otherwise interesting premise into a boring slog with little, if any payoff. I don't just want static pictures, I want the scenes to be accessible. One of my favorite scenes was when she got fucked at that club and you caught her during it. And yet, I can't get back to that scene without hours of boring slog. I have given up on this game, and recommend you do the same, until such a time as a scene gallery is added to make it worth the time spent.

The branch stuff really messed this game up, since some branches make zero fucking sense. And the many parts the MC keeps saying I need to do something but never fucking does anything at all. But honestly, the main plot in general is fucking terrible.

The Main plot seems to work reasonably ok on the 'noAddWife NTR off' route, although not so much on the other routes, where it is different. By making the main plot not the same on every route the devs have given themselves an enormous amount of work to do, and the whole thing has just ended up massive and confusing. It is a work in progress though, so maybe they'll streamline it before they finish.

Does anyone remeber which version u can dominate jenna and no i don't mean the one time she offers u to fuck her supposedly there was talk about the aplha route with jenna but then they removed that part in s later update

is this game working yet or are there still people getting softlocks where the walkthrough has every path/quest saying to progress other routes with no guide on what's missing and nothing happening for extended periods of cycling days?

can someone explain to me why in bloody hell u get the option to hypnotize the wife with whatever u like , the option to select "meet up with xxxx" and when all that is said and done the mc jut butt in and stops the wife from meeting/texting with greg moving forward
why making that an option if u just gonna cut it out like that ...this is hilarious :LOL:

I'm on the MC Cuck Route. In the wife's story lines the branch of Valerie and Jenna I'm at step 660 in 4 days. How many steps does this branch go in this release? Anyone know?

Latest update:

Well, I have two pieces of news for you: one bad and one good.

I’ll start with the bad one: I’m forced to delay the timer again because I’m not making the deadline. I had to spend some extra time working on the remaining apps, as well as adding the ability to set any image from the gallery as wallpaper on the phone. This took me longer than expected, so I won’t be able to release the update today.

The good news: the A Wife’s Phone release is DEFINITELY happening before February 20, and the game will be available to everyone right away. I’ll set the timer for February 20, but that will be the absolute latest date. There’s just a little bit left to finish before the update is ready. Hopefully, I’ll be able to release it even earlier.

What else has been added to the game?
  • Messages in M&F.
  • Messages in OF.
  • The ability to set wallpapers on the phone.
  • The time-skip button now skips directly to the next active dialogue in the game.
  • In the future, almost all profiles in M&F will have their own small and large paths, so your likes and dislikes in the app will have consequences.
  • As I showed earlier, housing can now not only be purchased but also rented out for income.
  • Photos and videos in the gallery will be separated into different tabs. The gallery itself will no longer lag like it did before.
And plenty of other small improvements. I think when you see the updated version, you’ll understand just how much work went into all of this.

For now, we wait…

What’s next?
Two weeks after the release, A Wife’s Phone version 1.0.5 will be released with new content. I want to clarify right away that there will be less content than usual, as the Bloody Ink team can no longer work at the same pace as before due to a 5-7x decrease in financial support.

In the future, if the upcoming releases restore your support, we will be able to return to our previous development speed.
