Thing is there is only one kind of currency in russia which is rubel.
In for instance the USA you have two. The dollar and the cent.
That is why visually the last 3 digits are separated with a space. In western countries the lower currency would be separated by a dot or a comma like for example $10.45 and if the conversion rate would be 1:0.01 that would be 1 045 rubel.
Technically a bunch of products seem way cheaper than they would be in western countries while others are way more expensive.
Like imported cars.
To be fair this exact problem tourists in russia have as well. The ones that don't inform themselves prior at least.
Just think of the last three digits of a rubel value as a cent equivalent and you are not far from reality.
If the currency were to be fictional a change might be okay. But the game is rooted in reality and the rubel is a real currency so a change would not only be insulting the russian players of the game but destroy plausability.
Many games use either a fictional or an unnamed currency so they won't face the problem of real world weirdness. Some even avoid currency as a whole.
i do get what your saying and i understand about the currency side of things but $2000 thousand part makes no sense to me what would make more sense is something like this $2 million or $2 000000 rubels and not the way it is atm with it being $2000 then the word thousand at the end as well. if u know what i mean

I do know what you mean.
Basically a rubel is not equivalent to a dollar but to a cent. Roughly converted a bit more actually.
So what you are seeing as a price is more or less the same as if you'd go in a grocery store or something and see every item labeled in cent or your regional equivalent instead of $ or your regional equivalent.
Meaning you could see a price for a new car not as 200000 $ but as 20000000 cent.
The only difference is that rubel are not visibly separated at the hundreds with a dot but at the thousands with a space. Without a higher value currency available.
Regardless of whether it makes sense to you or it doesn't the game uses actual existing currency and thus is more or less bound by the rules that currency goes by.
One of them is the aforementioned separation and often "thousand" more or less being added as a kind of shortcut.
When I tried to open the game .qsp-file, this app asked for some password.

I realized this after I ran the exe and nothing happened. None of my antivirus detected it, so I presumed it was safe.
The fact that nothing happened spooked me, so I tried virus total.
Now I'm paranoid that I've installed something awful and my last back up was from 2 years ago as one of my hard drives melted.
I feel like I'm fucked.

It will then check the NPC's orientation and, after making sure she is not heterosexual, check her attitude towards having sex with multiple partners.
