I assume you are working on a save from older version. Don't, it breaks things apart, start fresh.

As far as I am aware the dev is still cooking on their boosty, however im unsure if the final version has been released yet as most of the recent stuff just looks like previews for the time being

for most games no time at all, but we- yeah no i'm not gonna sugarcoat it this game has potential and kinda sad this is the 'last' update

I mean, the dev wanted to make some new games, from what I recall the next in line is 2d metroidvania, with sci-fi themes. For not turning this into another legend of queen opala he has gratitude of many, many people I think.

So, Legend of queen opala: origin is a h game, which is being made for what, 11 years now? And it's still not really reaching completion, so yeah, you can drag on making game for pretty much forever as long as you have people paying for that. Is it dishonest? Yes. Did Jpegsama did that, like the guy from opala and many other games? No, so thanks to him for that.
