Thats 8.5 gb data and 30 mins of my life i will never get back. Most of the intro is a snooze fest and then the sandbox starts which i didnt even care about.
I'm glad I'm not the only one thats tired of this lol. Why is it with the bait of a hour long prologue that just goes into sandbox mode... Like 0 choices, 0 gameplay factors, 0 anything.... then
HEY WE'RE DOING SANDBOX ISN'T THAT FUN!?
...no it isnt fun lol.. It's so much extra work, so much extra problems and just generally always ends up taking a great title down to like "okay/good" in my books. In most sandbox AVN's i've played, the sandbox segments, literally did nothing but allow a player to find a "hidden render" that was pretty much the entirety of it. Some do a thing where you can get a bonus scene, sure thats a little more effort I guess, but majority is like "just click a few right things to progress the story" Sometimes I glaze over the tag and I'll admit its my fault but all in all, just wish dev's would stop trying to make these stories interactive unless from the second the story starts, thats the intention.
Sandbox in my experience, used to actually be something I enjoyed, until I started getting into the AVN community. Now that I'm here its always like out-of-place timelines (ie: having a scene that happens WAY PAST where you're supposed to be, or a character thats introduced in one storyline, appears further down in another storyline that you havent met yet because you didnt do the events in "proper" order) Bugs/glitches where you just progress for no reason, even though you actually didn't fulfill the condition, a way to artificially lengthen the story with a bunch of random trivial things, and lastly tries to act like you can influence story but theres 0 influence, its the same regardless lol.
It sucks this title was shaping up real good, then I hit the sandbox section and was like "wait this was sandbox?" came here and was like ah, welp... that basically killed it. Again too not trying to crap on sandbox dev's im sure they can admit the workload is way bigger with sandbox mechanics being a thing and if you actually put the effort in, good on ya. But idk why theres a sandbox craze as of late, seems like everything wants to be sandbox but it only works out like 5% of the time.
