I really love this game! The content is excellent.
However, I wish the corruption aspect were expressed more clearly. For example, look at the two images below — scenes like these would make a huge difference. I hope the developers can add more moments like this at each stage of corruption. Even just one or two such scenes would greatly enhance the player's experience. Personally, I really like this kind of detail.

'Sup, y'all!
Made some good progress, so... devlog!
This one will be short. The typical 'did work, work good' kind of post, but I still wanted to let you guys know where things stand.
I've been focusing on writing for these past few weeks since the last devlog (and even a bit before that), and I feel like I've got a nice streak of consistency going, getting some good chunks done each day. The creeping 'writer's block' I mentioned in earlier posts is mostly gone, and I've been able to power through it. Working on some cool events got me excited to get things off the ground and helped shake that off.
Usually, as soon as I finish writing an event, I jump straight to rendering it. But since I've been so focused on writing, I'm working on multiple events at once, and as a result, I haven't really started rendering them yet. So there isn't much to show for now, but I think that in the next post, I might have some nice sneak peeks to share.

*Release Date??*
Still no exact date. I don't usually say when I'll be finished, because I don't really know myself. It gets done when it gets done. Buuuut... Since I apparently enjoy putting unnecessary pressure on myself, I'll say that I want to finish the update before the end of November, or early December. Will I be able to make it? No. But I can definitely try.


Alrighty, short one this time around. Work's been going smoothly, and I hope to keep riding this wave until the release comes around. 'Til then, have a good one, folks!

Yo! Guess what? Devlog!
Another quick one. Like I said before, work is at that stage where it's mostly writing/rendering, so there isn't much to say that wouldn't spoil things. But here's a little update on what I have done:
Natsuha/Ayumi's story event is done. Natsuha is officially a student now, with everything that comes with it. And boy oh boy, it was annoying to account for every little situation a student is involved in... All the different sprites in the different sprites, poses, expressions, random events, etc... When I first started this project, I knew I'd eventually add a new student someday, so I kept a small 'step-by-step' cheat sheet of what I'd need to do when the time came. That helped, but there were still a few odd situations I forgot, and some scenes buried in the Studio that I had to hunt for. A little mess I had to figure out, but I think it's done now.
With that done, I moved on to a Yoko event. Which was supposed to be a quick fun one, but I decided to branch it into two paths, because I'm a psycho. One of those paths is done, and is in my opinion, the highlight of the update. The other path is still WIP, but it's a shorter one, so it should be done quick. After that, I'll get started on a Kiyomi event, which I think will be fun as well, and once those are finished, the narrative part of the update will be completed.
I'll still need to go back and finish some of the Academy Management events I left for later, but those aren't nearly as time consuming as the story events are.
Anyway, that's mostly it. I've attached some images to this post, which are sneak peeks of what's already in the game!

Haha I love how I can feel your passion while reading this. Excited for when the update eventually drops :whistle:
