It's still buggy, but it made quite a bit of progress on stability. You actually can play through the entire game now. Don't expect everything to go the way it should, though.

The way you phrase it makes it sound like there was a game some time ago, there was never a game, there was only ever a promise of the game, which addmitedly it is almost like a game at this point, but porn needs rework... in a porn game. I haven't even seen any special text for sex with a partner that has mutations that would very much warrant a special text even for flavor. People give liliths throne a lot of shit, a lot of it rightly so but at least it's better in that regard, unique features of your and partner bodies actually get mentioned there, sex feels more interactive and more fun to engage with, even if neither is ideal sex system for this type of game.
I won't whine about them spending months on futa content, just because futa on fem is not my kink doesn't mean it's wasted dev time, but I will bitch about countless pointless updates to make sure pregnancy is realistically calculated but barely anything to make it actually fun to engage with, this is coming from a person who waited years for DoL to add pregnancy (which btw in one update it dropped with a lot more interactions acompanying pregnancy than all of AW updates combined). Stuff doesn't need to be realistic, it needs to be fun and have gameplay or flavor implementations.
Also this is just me ranting don't take it as me screaming at you for remembering when this game had hopeful future, just your post triggered it but you said nothing wrong

Every time I see an update for this game I chuckle, remembering how the concept sounds great and the execution feels like being in a version of Hell where everything is based on Microsoft Excel.
I mean, what's there to say? Even if we like some of the content of the game, it's all so shallow, or directly leads to a bad end. The grind of the game hasn't really improved at all, and if you ain't interested in Futa, that's been the absolute focus of the past how many updates?
Combine that with how a lot of the "new content" tends to be stuff like pictures, or fixing bugs too big for them to ignore, or dev tools, it tends to take multiple updates before we see any real big change.
I mean, if someone isn't interested in the Futa stuff or the Parasite stuff, they've basically been out of luck since 1.02. And that's only a slight exaggeration.

Unable to load this update at all - so... not much... As updates go, this qualifies as a "step back" I do believe.
This game started with promise, more, in fact, than my first marriage. It had a lot more content and an adult rating. But really, it came down to a grind that eventually popped me like a grape before freezing up and destroying any progress. And that, friends, is how most things end - from the early butterflies of game development to the eventual death of the universe.
I try to remember that all fap sessions can end in blueball and one day I will have had my last orgasm yesterday. It keeps buggy games in perspective. ...kinda...

Looks like 1.15 is going to be the start (?) of a very long overdue bug fixing and making the UI more user friendly. Yup, 15 updates after 1.0 and we'll finally be getting some bug fixes and making apartment cleaning more user friendly.
imo it needs a lot of work, so I really hope the bug fixing and UI optimization doesn't end there. Maybe one day AW will actually be fun to play?

Man, all this is so sad. I am invested in this game because it's one of the very few FeMC hucow-breeding games out there. But update after update after update that path gets ignored.

Yup. Just part of the chief complaint: Instead of fixing and completing what's already in the game, they keep adding even more buggy features. Most Alphas are run better than this, because they actually want thier customers/patrons enjoying the game while finding bugs. If it was an Alpha, but it's post 1.0, it's an industrywide rule/standard updates are supposed to have more QA and polish at this point, and game breaking bugs take burning the midnight oil 24/7 if that's what it takes to get the hotfixes out ASAP.
ThaumX obviously knows how to program... though maybe a little lacking on the knowledge of industry protocol.

That's mainly because it actually isn't anywhere near the 1.0 stage, but the dev arbitrarily changed it to the 1.x labelling some time ago with the reasoning that the 'story' was mostly there by then iirc

the ai art will be way better for the game then the DAM Porn images.... why the hell would any dev use them. it limits their art so much it buggs me!! why the only game with porn images in it is Accidental Woman that only game i will ever play with it in any other auto delete that miss of a crap..... but now he switching to AI.... its going to be better
