That was also my feeling. Thought it would be more like NewLife where if your attractive, guys would slobber all over you. What I think I understand from the game though, is that it's still in such an early form that dating and attractiveness mechanics arent properly working yet.
Hopefully this all gets fixed to our liking because the setup for the game is incredible.
This update seems really cool tho.
There is much the game needs in every level from story, city, clothing and items, sexual relationships/sex, persona and daily life. As it stands the game is not much but gateways to a possibility but that's it too much greyed out options/not implemented which is expected for a game that says its 0.30 that's only 1/3 of the game supposedly done. I think a masculinity level or tomboy trait that gives options might be the best answer. A creation of a masculinity level could be there to keep your interest in woman more but too high could arise suspicion to which the prologue hinted upon. Too low and your body craves men to the point you cant resit their advances or outright become a bimbo. Truth be told I don't know which is worse having tons of possibilities and little current access or current access but being dry bone and no expansion created.Unless you are playing the from the girl start, god no it doesn't need to be "fixed". One of the biggest problems imo that NewLife had and still has is that the second you transform into a female the game just makes it seem like you were female your whole life. Nothing to even make it seem like you might find men more attractive now or anything even close to what would be going on in you or your character's head if such a thing was to actually happen. All of a sudden you go from a seemingly straight male to a straight female that is willing to hop on a dick if it fits with what you make the character think is attractive, little to no hesitation about it aside from the standard, but it is my first time stuff, after that you have no problem with it. Thus if this isn't important to the game why have it in the first place.
Accidental Woman on the other hand tends to frontload a lot more of these things from what I can tell so far in that for right now a lot the transformation from physical effects to potential emotional/mental effects are all pretty much said in the prologue since that tends to be where most of the actual story content is. Once you get out of the prologue it is pretty much a sandbox that doesn't touch on anything else iirc.
Maybe the stat could be changed to seduction skill in female form or something similar since, what you used as a male in your supposed life before the transformation probably won't work as well. That is the way I see it anyway hell just think maybe the creator is thinking it is how you use your body in a seductive way like it would take practice to move around in a completely new body let alone a complete sexual change as well.
Overall there is a fuckton of work that needs to go into the game.
Excuse the nitpick but it's one of my pet peeves in these communities: There's no default relation between version number and game percentage, especially when their system is just a straight count of '30 full updates released so far'.which is expected for a game that says its 0.30 that's only 1/3 of the game supposedly done.
So that's what I was thinking. The game is designed to appeal to the transformation over actually being female. It seems like many transformation games are design to transform others and maybe including a controlled character. Has a kind of violation appeal I think.Unless you are playing the from the girl start, god no it doesn't need to be "fixed". Well yes I do play both games from the female start. M2F transformation isn't my thing, but both these games seem to want to offer deep character customisation that allows for female starts. While you may be right that NewLife doesnt deal with the M2F stuff very well, what it does do very well is offer massive consequences for every character trait in both the pc and npcs. For example, as me and Devacore were talking about, attractiveness: in Newlife being super attractive had big consequences! Most npcs would treat you very differently! In this game at the moment, not really at all.Unless you are playing the from the girl start, god no it doesn't need to be "fixed". Thats another issue personalty and persona are very bare bones. I expected more persona from the characters since it has many factors tracking it. Once again I know what they are completing first but its leaving many features untouched that could give the game more life and give reason to have that.Well yes I do play both games from the female start. Maybe I'm missing the events where it's taken into account, but dating feels like an uphill battle. All men seem very uninterested, and that doesn't fit into my playstyle at all. As all the systems and customisation in this game seems to be building up to allowing for varied playstyles, I hope they are intending to allow for my playstyle as well as yours. But at the moment, I'm not sure if anyones playstyle has been implemented very well yet. We shall see with more updates!
I'm wondering if the current state is the designed state. So let's say the attraction system is going to epic but for the time being why not just add the bonuses to the seduction skill. If you want to get fancy take the female stat like weight * by NPC preference then add to seduction skill. (repeat for all stats)Thats another issue personalty and persona are very bare bones. Well again, from what I understand, the actual 'content'-adding process hasn't even been started yet, so I think it is quite possible that everything we've talked about could get added later. They just seem expectedly behind schedule so it may take years.I'm wondering if the current state is the designed state. I can see a temporally solution to personalities, as well. To me, I have a feeling what we see is what we get and the 'dream' is just an illusion. I'm not selfish, I hope the intended audience is happy now and will be happy with the final product. (I'm just not their intended audience)
Sorry to go off topic here, but can you expand on this? I always thought it was just for some flavor textin Newlife being super attractive had big consequences! Most npcs would treat you very differently! In this game at the moment, not really at all.
