I think that the updates are so slow because Messiah cares too much about the little details, making him remake entire renders because he doesn't like the final result and while that shows that he cares, the result are these 6 months between updates.
the last update took 3 month if i remember correctly, 6 month is insane tbh

I understand and support it when a developer does their work with the care Messiah has, but at the same time, I'm worried it could cause burnout.

I hope this is just my fear; after all, I'm very excited for the game's upcoming updates.

Nope. All previous updates only took 2~3 months. This half a year of no game updates is concerning, to say the least.

Yeah, even worse when you are a fan of the SUB + NTR route, that means he won't even start the development on that route until he finishes this update.
Im probably waiting around 2 to 6 months more for the route I like.

And that's why I always ask devs to make only one route at a time - instead of all of them.

I mean no wonder they're not making bread on patreon. You can't expect people to give you money if you don't deliver updates. Simple as that. Half a year is an insane amount of time for an update.

Virtually every game in the top rated page has/had updates that took ~6 months. Many even longer.
It's fine to be disappointed you aren't getting your free content faster I guess, but to claim a game's updates taking longer than 3 months is insane is.. well.. insane.

i'm going to be devil's advocate here but most game on this site take 1 to 3 month to update, except for the few ones like being a dik but it's a little minority and their update usually means new minigames, musics and a loooot of content so it's more understandable.

To be truly devil's advocate you would need to elaborate that the few games taking longer than 1-3 months to update are either 1. surprising high quality (and/or quantitiy) in content,
2. impacted by an one-man-team doing that game on the side / as a hobby or
3. simply a product made to milk patreons.

1 is what i said but i think this game is from a lone dev if i'm not wrong, you are right on the 3 though
