Hmm Looking at his Patreon his last post was over a month ago? still the long wait between the last update maybe something else is going on still not a good sign

Completely forgot it's September now, but there's still been monthly progress reports and unless someone who's a patreon supporter that tells us what the progress reports look like there's no point in getting really concerned because we don't know what the progress is like

Hello!
I know you'd probably rather see a release of an update than another report, however it's taking so long I think it's time to make one. Even if it's a short one.
Once again, I've ended up adding and reworking a lot. The issue with having it all in my hands for so long is that the scenes have a lot of time to marinate in my head, which forces me to keep reworking stuff, and overall, this update was a bloodbath in that regard. I have a lot of thoughts and ideas about how I want to do things from now on. I want to share them all with you, but I think I'll leave it for a FIN note when the update ends, so I can write down everything in one place, available to all. A lot of you seem to worry, but I can assure you I'm close. I'll make another post with exact dates and times closer to release.
Also, as a little bonus since you've been waiting so long, I'm going to update the UI and add a Gallery too, since that doesn't seem to take as much time as I initially thought. And as you might've noticed, as always, I've halted the additional renders since I am so behind. Don't worry tho, you'll see so many abandoned ones I think we'll be even
Anyway...

No, that's the progress of since his last progress report, not the whole development cycle. Give the dev credit.
It is, and just incase you were confused, the new content created was since his last progress report, not the update.
from what i can tell, it seems he does a lot of classic first-time dev work like remaking things over and over and not being satisfied with the results, so it heavily delays even small animations and additions
Can anyone help me out? This game crashes for me almost immediately. Sometimes directly on launch, sometimes I can get a few lines into the game. I have a beefy pc with a powerhouse gpu, cpu, and lots of ram. Does anyone know a potential fix?

If your game crashes then there must be a log with possible reason for this crashes, send log here and knowledgeable people will be able to help.
Its usually located in the game folder.
Dayuuum, I was expecting this update to come a lot faster than 6 months since dev split the updates per path.
However reading into the thread it seems dev got a prblm with overthinking lol. Honestly, I can't blame him, happens to me a lot when I have too much free time on my hands, I keep secon guessing what I can do better. Sometimes it can be a good things but most of the time it's a lot of time wasted.
Anyway, atleast it seems dev has done some work and that we can maybe expect the update soon. I rly hope he didn't update his renpy version to 8.4 or anything after. I'm still not able to afford a new computer and mine can't run win 10 or later.
Hoever, I consulted with some dev/s and it seems a lot of them won't switch unless it's necessarry. I hope it's the same for this one.
Anyway, does anyone know when can we expect the game to be updated?

Sadly, it seems that the dev is very slow, because he cares too much, which could be a good thing, but it slows things to a crawl.
The last progress report, had a very high coding progress bar (95%), so it should be out this month.
