Okay a quick review of this game. Not a proper review because its not even start of act 1 properly.
Pros:
Good RPGMZ work done here. Tilesets are good looking and character arts are properly laid out and detailed. Scene arts are good too.
Characters are laid out in quite a novel way and there exist some proper lore to enjoy the world Devs are created.
Cons:
1. Its too linear. Yeah its a linear game but its too much. It almost feels like a Renpy version would have worked better.
2. Corruption Levels are just fake bars with no impact on the story and MC. I thought that at every Corruption level we could see Emma doing some more perverse things. Like in first level masturbating more than before, in second getting horny from exhibition or some internal dialogue or an inner corrupted Emma talking to our Emma at each level because since the start of the game we can see that Emma may be more special than hero himself and something is within her.
Anyways there should be some impact on the Emma if you are showing Corruption levels. I know that its a WIP game but these things are so small that its not difficult to add it up. Just look at Star Knightess aura where each Mental Change hits quite good.
3. Some events appearing out of blue or not in a proper order. For example, why Emma wore slutty Waitress costume after one day of work, this would have been an easy corruption event and if she refused to wear it she would have gotten less tips and so on to force her to wear it later and increasing corruption that way if player want to earn more.
Another example will be Merchant quest. Emma Corruption quest want her to be groped few times, but that guy is straight up fingering her. Overall, events are there but there exist some pacing issue.
Overall a 7/10 game as of now with potential to be a good one. Story is about Emma who joined as hero's childhood friend where Hero gave her blessing to fight as she was just a civilian...or she was one? In prologue we can see that King who gave hero the divine power is shady and that Emma herself has some hidden Chaotic powers and when Hero's blessing wore off her own power erupted. So, corruption here is what Emma could have been if there was no Hero or King, and there is no problem with NTR too as Hero is slimy too as Emma literally jumped over him to have sex so many times before him just brushing it off as if he is gay or something.
My theory is that King knew about Emma power to some degree and told Hero to make her his minion while preserving her chastity as it appears to be key for Emma power unlocking or something. Demon King observed her power which was sealed and kidnapped her to see what's going on. But King anticipated that and gave hero a very powerful Doomsday magic, King made sure to brainwash Hero to believe that DK is evil guy and so he refused to listen to him and Hero activated the magic. DK countered it but it was a huge toll for him, and at the last moment when he cursed the Hero he saw Emma's true hidden power, adding some trivial curses to corrupt her or more like unlocking her powers.
This game roadmap is similar to another one called as Lasvicious where in first phase we had corruption of Heroine and then viewpoint of husband becoming a Cucky slave or so. While this is a good roadmap and one which only few games have picked I believe that considering the grey areas Devs showed in the prologue approach of Hero Party must Fall towards NTR would suit this game better. Corrupt the Hero too to free him from the control of Empire.
