Heh. Nope, Burt, but you tend to be effective in communicating, so it's easier to use you as a marker.
The critical comments line should have been the giveaway. That's directed at the preponderance of negativity generated by the recent darker tone. While BS hasn't really hit darker tone (and I don't know if it will), I get the feeling you don't have any problem with a narrative that heads that way as long as it maintains internal logic.
But, it's fun to discuss with you here and/or on Discord, so thanks for the shout out!

Your broader point is sound, but the game does not take place in NYC. I think every game I've seen here with a cop uniform has an NYPD one. It must just be the art asset.

I don't. A darker tone doesn't bother me. But the tone has to be able to mesh well with the rest of the narrative, or it feels out of place. To me it feels like two different titles. When it's dealing with the romance, the characters, the fun, or even the emotional stuff with Liam, it's one of the best adult games in recent memory. When it's dealing with any of the antagonists, it's like another game entirely. And sadly not one I find compelling. I mean look at Episode 4, which was probably the high point of the game... we had some sad stuff with Liam, but we had great character work, a lot of choices, and no shoehorned in darkness.
And on a random note... calling it now. The fire was set by Megan's dad. He was the one stalking her through the window. Because:
ok i need an episode 5 save plz guys. None of my savefiles are working. And i have a question to the dev : Why did u remove some of the awesome songs like "urban lullaby" and "huma huma" ? They were so addictive i had to play the scene over and over again just to listen to the songs.

from speech patterns and little things i've noticed..i believe the game takes place in London England or thereabouts..i wouldnt mind it being Sheffield though as thats where my grandfather came from and my last name originated

So you're saying you don't want a scene where the yacht is sinking and you have to choose between saving Silver or Robert?
All you need to do is go back and finish 5 to where it tells you to save and use that save for 6.ok i need an episode 5 save plz guys. None of my savefiles are working.
