Yeah ngl I'm not particularly happy with those scenes. I tried to use different methods for the sweat and tears and they looked "ok" at first glance, but when everything was done and I sat back to check the renders thoroughly I realized I got baited.
I decided to take the L, have some subpar scenes and use it as a lesson for the future.

This whole chapter I tried messing with surfaces and I didn't really "got it" pretty much until the Jessica scene. Though if didn't try it and failed miserably I wouldn't have understood how the whole glossiness thing works and wouldn't have been able to redo the shower scene in chapter 1 properly.

Yes, there are some issues and I'm the first one to admit it. I'm very much flying from the seat of my pants here, so some times I'll miss the mark. It's not a big deal at the end of the day, I'll just learn and do better next time.

While I am always happy to see more lesbian AVNs (or even just female led AVNs where the main point is NOT to make the MC suffer as much indignity as possible), the girl-dick is not really my kind of thing (whatever the reason behind MC having one might be). Oh well, I guess I'll have to skip the next game and wait for the sequel to this one. But I am sure that those that enjoy this kind of thing are in for a treat.

I already did it on Patreon (or at least hinted at it), but I should probably address it in this thread too:
I don't plan on having a "break" in between AR and the next game (aside from an actual break where I do fuck-all for a few days and recharge my batteries). The current plan is to have AR wrapped up and finished by March/April and immediately jump into developing the next game which at this point should be clear enough that is going to be a sequel with Valerie.

The cyberpunk VN is pretty much just something I'm doing for fun (and to test the limits of my hardware) on my free time and inbetween updates. I wanna make it clear that even if ends up selling like hotcakes I've given my word to the Patreons that AR and the "lighthearted lesbian VNs" that will follow are the priority. Also, shit's dark. I have a hard time writing a darker story without throwing out a joke every few minutes.

Then use dark humor, that could work too. :) "Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy", "Monty python", "Red dwarf". Just don't go "23 sisters". That just got ridiculous later on, but wasn't very funny anymore. A darkly humorous take on cyberpunk could be fun. ;)
