Wednesday night my SSD died. Thankfully I have everything backed up twice over, so the only loss was the time it took to copy everything over and to order a new one off of Amazon.

Aside from that, I think I'm FINALLY back to my regular schedule!

...that is if we don't count today, where I had to waste an afternoon opening every single render I did yesterday (over 40) to just click a button 'cause I forgot to activate the denoiser. They are re-rendering now (hence the earlier than usual post).

Aside from that, everything is progressing smoothly. I don't think I can recover the time lost due to illness (at least not without burning myself out), so I've just accepted that this chapter is going to take a bit longer than usual to come out, but at least I've managed to fix my sleep schedule and I'm back to working on the game in the mornings and afternoons, pumping out the usual 35 to 45 renders per day.

Which are mostly sex scenes. To the point that I'm struggling to find renders to put in these posts.
On the to do list there's still Alex's solo scene, the second threesome of the chapter and its variants, the small "date" with the chosen Fujikawa sister (and their sex scene) and I'll try to sneak in a Janice scene if I've got the time.
Originally I planned to have 12 sex scenes, but I cut out a third threesome(and the relative solo scenes variants) 'cause it just didn't really make sense with the girls that would've been involved, so the sex scenes count is currently at 9.

That's it for this week. I'm going to have dinner then work a bit tonight to try and salvage today's time loss. I expect to have 2 more weeks of rendering in front of me, followed by one of coding. I hope I'm wrong and that it's going to be less, but this chapter is fucking cursed, so who knows?

We ALL know it shouldn't apply to fiction. Nobody likes our content being controlled like it is, unfortunately money talks.

If we had massive financial giants to back Patreon and replace Paypal and Mastercard then we could go back to the glory days.

However stupidity rules and for some reason both companies want to appear "family friendly" which means either removing the problem areas, like they did with Subscribestar when they blacklisted the site or the force them to follow their rules like they did with Patreon.

A solution would be to do like some games do.

Even though I think I've seen only two games doing that.

Let you openly define the relationship between characters. Nothing is set in stone.

In one game, it was obvious the family links between the characters, and I think the default option was the step family.

In the other, you live in your landlord's house with your roommate, who are definitely not your mother and sister.

Add a dialogue box to redefine relationship, and tadaaa!!!
No need to have a "step"-family anymore.

I wasn't saying it needed incest, I was merely joining the conversation, I think I haven't played the game since the first version of the first chapter, a good occasion to dive back in the game. You progressed quickly, already 6 chapters, it feels like you posted this game yesterday, good work.

it's not up to the platform(s) in most cases. They would happily make more money if they could. But payment processors such as visa and mastercard can strongarm them to change their policies if they don't like it. Look up the pornhub nuke from a couple years ago, that was because of them too.

Hello there! I'm gonna get the housekeeping out of the way first: only got 2 and a 1/4 scenes left to render, IN THEORY. I'm still on the pace of being done with rendering by next Sunday (the two scenes left have sex scenes in them and those always take a big longer to pose).

Some of you may be wondering why I'm posting this on a Saturday instead of Friday. The answer is simple: I held off 'cause I wanted to do this when I had finished rendering the chapter. And guess what?

CHAPTER 7 HAS BEEN RENDERED!



The current total is 861 renders. I say "current" 'cause the number usually fluctuates as renders get discarded or I make additional ones that I miss/need when scripting.
Now I move on to the coding and scripting, which I'm dreading for this chapter.

You see, what I usually do is I, in order:
- Plot out the chapter;
- Write the dialogues for the story scenes;
- Render and do adjustments to the dialogues if needed;
- Render the lewd scenes;
- Code and write the lewd scenes as I code;

The last point is the important one in this case. The reason I don't write the lewd scene beforehand is because I never got any clue what I want to do with them until I'm actually doing them.
...and this chapter is 85% sex scenes.



I'm gonna start doing it either tomorrow or Monday (ideally tomorrow, if real life doesn't get in the way).
I can't wait to be done with this chapter. Between getting sick, technical issues (all of which were my fault), vaginas not getting wet (glossiness sliders and lights did not want to cooperate in certain scenes) and other IRL issues I believe that this chapter is cursed.

Man, sounds like the dev is loosing a bit of her Mojo... Hope she will recover soon after this update and find the fun in all this again. I very much love her work and I am always impressed by how much shit she is getting done.
