Gonna state for the record, I started downloading the original .gif version because that was the thing to download when I first found this game. And the file size was pretty much a non-issue since there were plenty of seeders for the torrent. Then saw that compressed was the way to go. Gonna have to agree with the people bitching about not having a mega for it though. Anon is shit, racaty skeeves me out and I've never heard of fucking nopy. And just checked as I was typing this: Nopy failed and restarting the DL has the rate in the low100KB/s. Unless the sites all just hate me, I know it ain't on my end 'cause I've downloaded larger files faster. Second failure from nopy and I'm at 50 fucking KB/s. This cunting file is going to give me a fucking anuerysm.

edit was because my space key fucking hates me.
it's a mistake on your end. as you can see it's downloading stuff in full speed for me. my max speed is at around 19 MB/s.

a high internet speed isn't everything. you also gotta make sure such websites are "allowed" to use your speed. if you e.g. use an AV or a browser that blocks certain speed, or if you use VPN, it's no wonder that you won't have high speed.

surprising you don't know what nopy is. we even have an own thread just for nopy where the developer himself talks about his project and tries to solve issues whenever a problem occurs for users.

Running stock firefox (unless disabling ublock doesn't actually stop it from interfering) on ubuntu 18.04
Don't run an AV since the drives I use are always damn near the end of their life and I can just brick 'em and install onto a new one anyway. (before you point out that that shit is the problem, I hadn't even thought of the game for a couple years so I would have had to go through this bullshit on the old drive) Could never figure out how to configure the "free" VPNs and I'm to cheap to pay for one.
I'd use chromium but I can't be assed to find shit that works for me the same way that it does in firefox.
Though, I do have an install for use with a game that doesn't run well in firefox... Maybe I should give it a shot on that if it keeps fucking up eh?

I will admit to being grouchy as fuck since I had had a shit day of work and had been up well past when I should have been asleep. I will NOT however, retract my statements. I ain't gonna complain again as a possible reason could be the time of day. I get some janky speeds at the ass-crack of dawn. I will try again (since it failed spectacularly while I was passed the fuck out).

And as an aside, I don't know most filehosts. Can't be fucked to if I'm being honest.

Edit: Fucking spacekey. I should probably take the keyboard apart and clean it again. I'd be able to put the grave the right way round again while I'm at it.

i already downloaded more stuff than i could count ^^. checked out many providers. gotta say, nopy might be the best one i've encountered so far. i'm using firefox too so it should work on that webbrowser for you. ublock doesn't do shit against nopy, 'cause that website doesn't even use ads. but maybe you fiddled around with the firefox options? i wouldn't go for free vpns, they could do more harm than they could help you if you don't know that free vpn.
well, what you could try, is, to open up specific ports on your router. nopy is on https so i guess it uses port 443? ya might wanna ask nopy on that matter though.
i have no idea how ubuntu works and what its options are. but i know that you can restrict download speed on windows 10. maybe that might be the culprit.

but first of all, how is your speed when you use other providers like zippyshare or mediafire?
do a short speedtest before you attempt to download. normally i would suggest ookla, but they seem to collect personal data now... so you can just use this one here: . it's the biggest internet provider in my country and has a good enough speedtester. that way you can make sure you have the speed available when you start a download.

Not much like windows as it is a linux flavor. The connection settings are stock as well claims 1000 Mb/s but I bloody doubt that. Your speed test site puts me at about 1.7 Mbps download and 6.0 up. Which is a bout what I expect from fucking comcast honestly.

Are there any replacement packs for venus (webm version)?
Not yet I don't think. Sorry I haven't had a chance to convert my twins pack to webm - would be questionable quality anyway. At some point I'd like to do a really good one in Webm, but not this week.

I'm reading the install instructions... and I must be blind or confused

"
1) Download Main file containing pictures and sound.
2) Extract Main.
3) Download Player file in attachments - always the latest version.
4) Extract Adam&Gaiax.x.xPlayer to Main file (same location as "img")
5) Click Adam&Gaiax.x.xPlayer to play.

If there are bigger updates:
6) Download and extract latest update, to same location as the Main file (img to img)
7) Merge folders and files, click yes if asked.
8) Repeat step 4 with the other updates. "

I don't see Player Files anywhere. I don't see any attachments. Is it called something else? Is it now included in the main file but no one updated the installation instructions? Help would be great.

Hey all, I'm coming in here from the Ren'py version because playing that honestly blew my mind so I just had to try the original with more content.

Legitimately amazed at just how much is going on all over the place, I spent a solid week playing this since I had it dl'ed, torrented the full thing, because I can't download the compressed using the current links because my connection hates me and will cut the dl randomly. Waiting time ain't an issue for me.

Now there were some things I wasn't really into of course, the Furry Stuff (the tag was there, so I was warned), some breeding that almost shattered my SoD (again, a matter of my tastes, but hey different strokes and all that), the janky page loading when I select an option too quickly while Exploring, and some of the porn images (not quite a fan of lolis or Anorei when she grew beyond her perfectly chubby body).

However, I could legitimately shove that all to the back of my mind because I was having just that much fun and engrossed in the game and all the myths and legends that were somewhat retooled for the game. As a mythology nerd, I really did enjoy finding tales that I knew and were slipped in with hardly a ripple.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, honestly, this game is one of the more engrossing ones I've come across and it's been very enjoyable. Thank you for the time you have taken to develop this.

Is there any difference between the 25GB original file and the 2.8GB compressed one... aside from size I mean?

The only thing I got out of this is that you somehow got the game to run. What am I missing? o_O

There's nothing to miss, everything's already there and in place, you just click on the .html file and you're good to go. Remember that the .html must not be inside the img folder, but rather you should see it alongside the img and snd folders where ever you're storing them.

the 25 GB actually has a bug cause i fucked up some folder names due to my nonunicode being japanese.

just download the webm version. it has EVERYTHING you need. just download it, extract the file where you want 'em and start the html. that's it.
what you tried to follow was the old legacy installation that is obsolete now.

So, is the 25 GB worth it?

welp, made a new Antigrind version based on Epadders latest version... consider it a beta and please give some feedback if it works as intended.

Just ran across an oddity ... (using the webm version) it would seem that the bear encounter can have a no picture issue (RNG is 1 as there are no bear"1" series files) also wondering if this was supposed to be coded similarly to the Doe encounter (keeping track of bearnumber seems to do nothing for the encounter itself)
