downloading via nofile now though i felt i shlould point out that this game might be too large (5GB+) to download via MEGA. i had to copy/paste the MEGA link into jdownloader 2 since firefox lacks enough buffer or something to decrypt the zip file and every time i try downloading via jdownloader, it says bandwidth limit exceeded.

edit: and... it looks like it downloads too slowly from NOFILE. at around 175kb/s (which is that file host throttling the speed, not my connection as i could download a ps2 game from emuparadise at several MB/s now) it'll take me around 12 hours to download this game and i ain't wasting my time on such a slow download.

ain't waiting no 12 hours cuz the file host in question is so crappy they throttle download speeds.

You can use the MegaSync app, and wait until the download is finished (or pay €5 for the mega pro a/c), or you wait for nofile to finish the download.

You can use Cloudflare's DNS if you haven't changed already (IPv4: Address1: 1.1.1.1 Address 2: 1.0.0.1)

Also, it's around 6 hours at 175kb/s. I know because that's the speed I have.

I don't just AV's running on my system and it wasn't just slow-downs, it was programs running that weren't on the system before and what looked like malware, but I didn't say so because I wasn't sure and am still not sure it was.. just that it looked like it. As for torrents that are 5GB and higher, I have no problem with that and yes I am on a laptop. The biggest torrents I've done were around 7GBs, anything more than that would take close to a week or more for me to download.

hmmm. so you suggest that the torrent maybe had a virus in it. you also tell us, it takes around a week to download 5 gb or more, right? so in this game, to download gaia you need at least a few days. maybe you did something in those days that messed up ya pc? who knows? did ya do something while downloading the game?

to be fair, torrent speed varies based on the number of seeders and peers using the torrent at the same time.

AND... NOFILE downloads at around 280kb/s+ (i think that's the speed i got with that site). so, even with a good connection you'd be waiting up to 12+ hours with the NOFILE link.

before we moved and switched to this cable company for internet this game would've taken me around...30 hours to download (around 6 hours per GB).

i wonder... could google drive be used for these games? it might have a bandwidth limit but it's definitely well above the size of this game if it does.

edit: i'm currently downloading a 12.54GB game via google drive at around 9-10MB/s. which has taken a small fraction of the time it'd take to download 5GB from NOFILE.

totally understand it there. i also don't use the app 'cause i simply don't want to use a god damn app just to download something.
i heard that the download manager helps to increase the speed for certain downloadportals. it can be used as a firefox plugin. you might wanna try it out.
the speed with nofile is about 350 k to 400 k for me but it would still take a long time. best would really be gdrive or torrent... alternatives would be zippyshare or mediafire OR you simply split the files into 5 1 gb pieces that you can download seperately on MEGA.

guess i could try and download it later then put it up on my google drive for now. i only have 2/15GB used currently and most of that is King's Field related stuff from old fan sites that have long since died off. :/

mine is probably one of the few remaining collections of maps, guides, pics, and...maybe music for that franchise.

it can be by reducsing the resolution but more often than not its reducing the quality, and before u think its gonna look like shit,our eyes wont be able to see the difrence. unless we looking at it vthrough a 8K moniter
