Actually, if you read what I said a little closer, I think you'll find that this amount is almost exactly what I described as being my personal preference. Was some but not all of it removed? Well, then it's sculpted. In theory, it means the character had to take the time to actually trim and shave but chose to leave a specific amount. I'm not saying it's the Venus de Milo of muffs, but sculpted is sculpted. You seem to be oddly defensive and quick to name calling when all I'm really saying is that I think it's weird to act like it's a ton of hair when it's probably 1/8 to 1/4 the amount it would be if she hadn't trimmed it. I can be kind of particular about semantics sometimes. I like what I see so far! Her thoughts when falling to Smash switch gears kinda jarringly fast though. Doesn't feel very authentic to go from fight mode to, this is ok too THAT fast. Not that it would be authentic any way, but having a transition in her attitude that's a little more progressive might flow better.
Just gonna pipe in to say the term's not been canceled to my knowledge. And I'm around multiple communities that would tend to have issues with some words. This one's not one of them. You're good. Tomboy's still used with no issue.
I'm a tomboy, and I'd aggressively stand by that term. The protagonist of this game very much speaks to me. You're good.
