The drivers are not regular NVidia/AMD, they are VMWare drivers due to the fact of virtualization (and they are up to date). The funny thing is, that if I save the game before the 30 seconds time period passes, after the game crashes, I can load and progress for another 30 seconds. I could hypothetically finish the game this way, but it would be a terrible experience. I downloaded the game by the use of torrent link, and unpacked .rar files into one folder, and that would be it, for the installation. Am I missing something? Other games run smooth, even if they are made on Unity/Unreal Engine.First of all... You can read minimum requirement on my patreon page. If game crashes on your pc it's some conflict on your end (cause game works perfecty on 400 different pc for sure none of my patreons have any crashes of game). If there is some error game will show that in message.log that is located in same folder where savegames of current version is. Also do know, when you download game from pirate sites, in many cases this uploaders re-pack the game and in most cases I noticed they either don't have a clue what they are doing or even attach additional suspicious files. It may be a cause of any sort of glitches or malware/spyware/viruses. Best way to get the game is from links on my patreon (for free) as I give previous version free at same point as I give new version for patreons. It's up to you, but I would not risk infecting my pc downloading from other sites cause they are filled with garbage that can harm your pc. Check Message log and see if anything is wrong and did your pc loaded all needed things to run the game. It may give you clue what is wrong
Will try to download everything once again from the patreon site and see if it works and then check error messages.

Yeah, using the v0.42 saves solved the crash problem since the game was also v0.42 but how can i play older versions? I didn't play since 0.38 and missed 4 update. I guess i should check the girls to see the scenes.

The question about making a compressed version has been answered more that once on this thread. Apparently many people don't get that the game size is that huge because it has THAT much content, not because it's not compressed. The game has probably more animations than any game on this site. IMHO that's something to respect, not to complain about
I've read the description and I respect the developer for the amount of content this game has and his hard work. What I was talking about is a version with lower quality images, so the size would be lower also. For me 20 GB is too much. I'm not alone surely. So I let the dev know that there is a need for such version. If he thinks that the demand isn't high enough to actually make lower quality version, I'm not gonna complain, it's his choice.

I tested function in engine to make game 1280x720 resolution. That would make game be around 3GB but, that function is broken currently in engine and it resizes some parts of game and some not, so all scenes would be out of place you wouldn't be able to figure out what is going on on screen etc. Now, If I resize pic's manually using batch convert, I would need to re-do all scripting in game (more of 2 years of development) to fit new resolution as object polygons would not resize unless I re-do them all. This is not an option for me as it would require months of work probably. Maybe when I finish game (hopefully some time at begin of next year) I will get into that part to make small version of game and maybe even suitable to phones that way. But Till then, it is what it is...

From what I see game could not create ini (config) file so it could be some authorization issue with windows permission as it creates savefile folder in appdata folder by default (I can't change it's engine locked function) Maybe try and copy just config ini file to game folder and to your C:\Users\WinAG\AppData\Local/Adventures of Willy D 041// folder as well and see what happens and if that helps. Other then that I see no issues in log, Game should work. Also what you may try to go to option menu and change resolution to any, then exit and quit game. That should write new ini in appdata folder where savegames are.
Thanks for your response. It'd be really great (for me at least) if you'll find a time for 1280x720 version eventually. I understand this isn't a trivial thing to do, so I'll be waiting and hope for the best
So if I've downloaded the game via torrent, I just extract each part into the same folder and keep overwriting files, or each part is its own thing?

You need to, have all zip files in same folder and extract only part 1. z-zip or winrar will do automatic merging of all zip files. Do not extract each zip separately as that will mess things up. Use either 7-zip or winrar latest version.
I've run in to a similar experience, beginning with v38.. Game just stops and drops me to the desktop. No error. no information. Figured I had a corrupted download/update and started over. Same thing happened. Waited for the current version (v42) and did a complete 5 part download and install. Same thing happened. During the introduction, games stops and drops me out to the desktop. Seems to be a timeout problem of some sort, i.e. if I click the mouse button to go through the dialogue quickly, i get farther along before getting tossed out, if I just wait at ANY screen, even the first one, immediately after the load, game drops me out to the desktop. Have just updated Windows 10, recently (after trying v38) replaced HD with a new SSD drive, upgraded PC memory, and still no joy.
Any suggestions?
