when i use the update for savegames executable, on both paths there is a red cross on 0.42 ??
You do have to always use the saves from the latest build or some of the game will not work.

You can always play a new game, but you can also start with an autosave from a previous version but only if you have the latest saves for the latest game from this screen....
This is from the latest free version. So you can select all but the crossed out numbers.
