I remember getting side-eyed at Gamestop all those years ago because I preordered the special edition that came with a titty mousepad. Turns out that was the best part of the game because it's an interesting premise dragged down by bad combat that takes entirely too long. That's when I basically swore off of all Idea Factory games.

Oh, and there's a boss called "Jumbo Cock."

Yup, like everyone else said, this game is not fun at all. Especially when leveling up, you got to click each point for leveling up your stats individually so if you stockpile points, you basically gotta slowly click until you use it up...or get a auto clicker to do it for you.

This game would of been so much more enjoyable without a true ending. The freedom of "breeding" your ultimate main character and party was a good idea. This game also suffers from being extremely grindy, and its pretty tough if you don't have DLC
I often wanted to give this another shot on PC with cheat engine and just go to town on the stats but it’s such a long game and yeah the true engine which requires a very specific set of choices kinda sucks.

but even a winterwolves game(no sexual content) has more sexual content, I’m surprised this is up here and the disgaea games aren’t. Maybe some of the older fallout games?

In all seriousness, how about some no sexual content RPG maker games like whisper of a rose(gold)?

Like its only upside is being one of the few JRPGs that tries to tackle a multi-generational story but it's not like it's the only game series that does that.
that alone sells me to play the game even if it's bad in gameplay. Japanese media with good story is just mostly impossible since the only thing they mostly care about is the male and female genitalia (mostly females tho). They excels in good gameplay and good secx but never good story so finding this is a godsend

Any idea on how to use cheats in this game?
unless you know how to accuratly use Cheat Engine, this game didn't have any cheats installed and it was very much a grind to go through. I just quit after going through the 3rd generation on the PS3 and have yet to complete any trophies.

Depends on which version of the game this is. Steam did something a while back that rendered all previous Cheat Engine tables useless & after having played this game on both X360 & PC years ago, you're going to want those tables.

If I knew all of this I would have never... I love this game because your off-spring can be used/transfered to the next game.

For anyone trying to beat this game under the turn limit, there is a bug that wont increase the count if you enter a dungeon and fight battles in there. you can level up without upping the counter and thus not lock yourself out of content. not sure if they patched it in the pc version.

someone tell the op that the Aksis trailer is still on Youtube and it is glorious. still remember my first viewing. "one ring to rule them all." sounds like a lord of the rings... Record skip... porno music starts playing... what???

I tried, I bought both Zero and 2... but I just couldn't like them. I love SRPGs and even the Conception games but Agarest did not hook me.

Just seeing this reminds me that after 370+ hours put in, I still haven't reached the true ending. I have so many hours, not from playing, but from leaving the game on within a dungeon with the arrow key weighed down for grinding.
