Yeah! I liked Survivor Sarah 2. (I don't mind finding it here, I was quite happy to see what had been done so far.)

I did find escaping the farmers to be really troublesome in the original version, and hard to figure out.

I hope as Combin redoes it with his updated model's he makes it a bit easier to get away from them and onto the second part of that story which is the part of Survivor Sarah 2 that I am most interested in.

He did disappear at one point for longer than usual which tends to be several months so that's why it got marked abandoned. I expect he will pop back up soon with another update. His updates tend to be months at a time.

No this one is finished. He's moved on to SS2. Yeah his development time is very long but that doesn't make this one abandoned. You can even see in the changelog that update 4 completed this game.

Nah he switched engines and rendering software so he abandoned the previous Missions game lol. That game has a gameplay loop of Alona performing different missions and coming back to base. It's a shame because I like that one concept the most. You can replay missions and even wear different outfits to get slightly different reactions and flavors during the missions. There's also a standalone BDSM infiltration game still under the "Missions" label and one at the start of the zombie apocalypse but I feel at that point he's lost the plot and interest for his previous idea already lol.

Judging from his games list, and how many of them have an abandoned tag, I think it's safe to just ignore all of his games. Sad, but that's my view of this dev.

Or, you could consider that you are getting them for free, even if incomplete, and just be happy with what you get.

I am not enthusiastic about cmbin's games because I don't think that they offer interesting decisions, but the fact that they are incomplete just makes them similar to 99% of the games here. If incompleteness is a hangup for you, you are in the wrong place.

He's completed several games already so he's actually already better than most devs on f95 lol. Also, don't trust blindly the Abandoned tag in f95. This is not the first time I found a completed game being tagged as Abandoned on f95.
