I am not sure if it's actually possible to make a good story line with futa. I mean, GOOD, not only exciting or sexy. There is a big problem with the suspension of disbelief. When you put a woman with dick, it's hard to keep taking the story seriously, usually I abandon the story and just enjoy the graphic art (in my head if it's a novel). The only good stories I have read related with that topic are more about shemales, not futa. That makes the story believable, therefore immersive.
All of this is only my very subjective opinion of course. In this case I feel lazy to even try to play the video after reading the tag "futanari". That's sad because the art looks pretty good to me.

Most porn in any form - live-action movies, comics, 3D art, etc. - is based on fantasy. Even those using vanilla genitals have all sorts of physical reactions that are more fantastical than real-life. The idea is to buy into the imaginative storyline at play and that story's own environment which supports it, not to analyze the physical realities of mapping their bodies or behaviors to our real-life in most cases, IMHO.

I believe this depends entirely on your own power of imagination. I don't really have an issue with futa, the fact that futas can't technically exist doesn't even come into play when I watch a futa movie. Then again, the "pizza boy brings extra sausage" western porn crap that's churned out by the ton rings all sorts of alarm bells for me. Not sure if I ever got any kind of immersion from cookie cutter american porn.
Guess it depends on your own previous experiences and the way they've shaped your way of thinking.

However, thanks to you I could be understanding better what's happening here. I think it could be more easily related to obsessive and perfectionist tendencies. The usual western crap (pizza boy, etc.) is really boring, but this is different. To transform a women into a futa, you need to fit a lot of things that do not make sense into your head. In part, that's because futa stories usually start as our real world, they seem to follow the real rules. If they start with demons, monsters, or something about magic, then everything is easier to accept. But they usually start in the real world and then, the rules change. Things don't fit.
Obsessive people need to feel that "things fit", even remotely. I can keep reading the story but I am all the time frustrated. Something in my brain can't stop singing "it makes no sense, this is stupid, there's no rules, anything could happen, what's the point then in following the story", etc. And that's a compulsion, I have not true control over it.
So maybe it's entirely my fault, because I have some OCD symptoms in other situations too (Obsessive and Compulsive Disorder).
So I retract from my previous comment. There could be a problem with me.

In school I took an elective on "Experimental film" and it was very fun: it taught me that often in art there are more reactions to consider than just your immediate reaction and/or mapping to what you see in the real world ... that placing your perspective into the eyes of someone in the world being presented to you is equally important for understanding what is being shown. Often, the eyes of someone in that comic, animation or game is closer to what the artist intended.
That exercise can even lower your own biases and allow the artwork to speak more as intended (i.e., objective understanding), which then gives you more to consider for reacting relative to your personal tastes (i.e., subjective judgment). I know that for me, this way of forcing myself to look at art - which is now second-nature to me - has also influenced my own subjective views and tastes from a greater range of interpretation that I previously did not have.
It may simply be that you are not used to being less subjective about the futa characters, so perhaps consider trying to understand how they are interacting within their world as displayed, too - that could offer more insight on what is happening and perhaps influence your subjective impressions+reactions. Or, maybe not! Everyone has their own tastes, tolerances and curiosities.

I am not sure if I was able to understand you... I devour art in almost any form: Paintings, music, prose, lyric, theater, sculpture, cinema and videogames ... but usually I don't fully understand what I see. I only feel things. I have always thought that art is mainly for that.
In fact it is the first time that I have materialized an affirmation on this subject despite feeling uncomfortable with futa for some time.
A couple of years ago, I had no problem with the futa. For a few weeks it was one of my favorite genres. Then something changed without realizing and I started to avoid it. Now I am unable to enjoy the stories that treat it, but not a big deal. I have very wide tastes ... in all areas XD, I still have a lot to choose from.
I will try to heed your suggestion though. Thank you.

If it happened that quickly, it's most likely an experience you had that changed your subconscious. If you'll pardon the comparison, kind of like young girls getting sexually molested by their fathers both mature sooner and tend to view sex more matter-of-factly than girls with a normal childhood. The subconscious dictates most of your likes/dislikes and it's not always easy to know why you like certain things and loathe others.

Do you really think that could happen? You could be up to something... Yeah, it's interesting because something changed by that time but it changed for good, not for bad. I escaped from a very twisted situation that lasted for most of my childhood. Why would that cause this change?
Anyway, I don't want to keep derailing this thread. Thank you all. I think that there's not one single thing that define our tastes alone, it's probably a pretty complex mix of different things. Enjoy the video, it looks quite good.

Just an opinion, but I have had a similar experience when I got through my parent's divorce at 14. I've had years when I was depressed and felt like I deserved every bad thing that happened to me. Nowadays I'm out of that funk and I tend not to like the same stuff I did back then. It's like I was punishing myself and blaming myself for their divorce. Not consciously, but the effect was the same, nonetheless.
I don't know your circumstances, but it seems to me that you got out of a bad situation and your need to punish yourself for some perceived fault was gone. Hence, deviant porn no longer served its purpose.

Animation was top notch as per usual from ARG, but wasn't into this one at all. Actually it was the first time I had to turn the volume off to avoid the voice of the dark hard character... Brrrr!
