Sad. And don't believe crap about any packer or game engine created that false positive. Live is to short to give all your data and digital life to someone else.

I mean... You're right that it's a good idea to scan things to make sure they're safe. It'd probably be a better idea to also create a safe environment that, for example, doesn't connect to the internet to play games from potentially untrusted sources. That said... unsigned executable files don't need packers or game engines to create false positives on virus scans, as they are perfectly capable of doing so all on their own.

That makes me wonder why there are so many RPGM that do not get flagged as trojan and none of my experiments with unity or unreal has ever created a false positive. And even if some packers (which some AV flag as false positive), I have seen the antivirus flag them as "packers" in the description, not as trojan. So I would tend to remain on the side of caution.
