Play without the cheat? it's not a difficult game and there is very little "grinding", cheat mods aren't really needed

I may be wrong about the Grind in regard to money (I cheat there)
If you need money you can use Saveeditor for that without bugging out the game. I don't know about the cheat mod in this regard, you might get away with that purely for cash.

It's when you use cheats for quest items and unlocking scenes that games tend to get buggy.
