Yeah that might be too brutal. Should save kicks for the worst kinds that deserve it like that thug. I picked innocent option for her since i didnt like evil route, wasnt evil enough for me lol
I do find her way too cute so im happy with whatever route she gets

My game seems to be loading a wrong save whenever I load. The first few worked fine, but after a save is made later (I mean like day 2-3) loading it brings me back to an very early save (that's not even in the saves, I overwritten it some time ago).

If you play with Windows, delete the path
C:\Users\"name"\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Agent17-1589840340
Every time you delete or overwrite saves in game/saves you should do this
That's.. bizzare. No other renpy game I've played had a problem like that.

Yes. It's like you say: there are many bizarre things in this game. The developer doesn't like people messing around with his game. And so there are a lot of defenses to prevent that.
And this then leads to the additional, quite interesting game

Here the save files are always saved twice. once normally and then additionally in a path called "sync". And this additional path, if not deleted, can lead to unpleasant events
