First game to make me ditch supporting the developer by actively getting worse. Why were agent stats added to the game? To make it take longer to access content via more clicks so it can milk impatience by selling cheats via Patreon tier subscription. Push your Patreon tiers with good extra content not by making the base content garbage.

Dev says you're wrong and denies doing it for milking anyone. He claims that the game is more enjoyable this way.

I enjoyed playing this game; thanks to the developer. for the clear love and attention they've given to bring their creation to life.
Balanced game-play is quite hard to achieve - too little grind, no feeling of accomplishment; too much grind, disengagement and boredom. For the most part, this game was balanced enough to my tastes.
Having played way too many of these type of games, I don't really understand people's objections to the MC. All these games are indulgent power fantasies, so if you find its particular flavour of coercion and immorality not to your taste... stop playing and go do something else.

Or, right click on knob 24 times, left click on knob 17 times, and right click on knob 5 times, then try to open safe, it has worked EVERY time for me.
