Hey everyone, it’s been a while!
First off, I’m really sorry for the late notice.
I’ve been going back and forth on whether to include certain systems and content in the upcoming update, and that indecision delayed this announcement more than I expected.
Here’s what’s currently in the works:
- Main Menu Background
A new main menu background has been chosen!
(Though please note—this might still change.)
- New City
A brand new city is being added!
It will include a prison, massage parlor, car dealership, and a casino.
- Vehicle System
You’ll now have a garage at home.
You can either steal Mom’s car or buy a new one!
With a car, you can drive to other cities.
- World Map
A world map is now available!
(But no, you can’t fight the monsters on it… at least not yet.)
By the way—we haven’t decided on the names for our current city or the new city yet.
If you have any name ideas, feel free to share them! I’d love to hear your suggestions and will definitely consider them.
- Equipment Slots
You’ll now be able to equip tools and gear from a new equipment tab.
(This is a temporary image.)
- UI Overhaul
The UI for items, skills, and other systems is getting a fresh redesign.
And There are several other small changes.
- Fate Card Redesign
Fate cards now have an updated look!
And you can now hide the ones you don’t want to see.
- Content Progress
The new content is over 80% complete.
(That 80% might go up—or down—depending on how things unfold.
This project tends to throw unexpected curveballs now and then, so some tasks end up being bigger than they first seem.)
We’re currently focusing on polishing and improving the quality—so thank you for your patience a little longer!
