So, finished all available content for the first run through. I guess I missed something in the gallery (at least, I think I only missed one thing in the Gallery) and it was the top left "secret image" from approaching a certain door multiple days in a row. Would be nice to know which door I'm meant to check out. Off the top of my head:
Anyway, aside from that lingering mystery I enjoyed my time. Psychological horror is hard to do well and while I can't say I'm ever actually scared during the game I am usually somewhat unnerved. I've enjoyed the majority of the twists and am excited to see more. I would throw you cash if you could still take it.
Also, if you haven't played Weird and Unfortunate Things Are Happening I would absolutely commit the like 20 hours it takes to play. Its a masterclass in Lovecraftian horror. No porn, sadly, but its still a damn good time and might offer some inspiration for other RPG maker lovecraftian ideas.
Last note: I personally think instant game-over enemies are bad in like 95% of all situations in video games. I don't mind throwing in the occasional one (Resident Evil Village does a pretty cool sequence with the baby that instant kills you) but just filling a room with a handful of sprites that instantly end your game is frustrating rather than scary. I was lucky enough to get through with only the occasional bump with a IGO enemy, though I did lose about 30 minutes of progress at one point which was frustrating. I say this, not because I expect you to go back and change that which would be absurd, but because I think the couple BIG chase sequences you did were really good while the random small enemies might have been better as random encounters mixed with fixed Sanity loss. You could recoup the Sanity lost, to an extent, with the Symbol spell in the fights while still having limited mana and be encouraged to avoid the fights. For instance, the Fire Escape sequence and the Apartment escape sequence both felt very tense while the random mobs occasionally wandering about the Hotel or the one room in the Club felt kinda lame. And like, I say this feedback out of my intense satisfaction with the game. When the rest of the game is so charming I want to see all the edges polished. Excellent work m8t
