There's been a bit of an influx of users over the last year. F95 has gained a lot of popularity. So, it's gone from being somewhat obscure to normie-town. And whenever normies flood into a place, the overall quality goes down. (ie: The internet was a utopia before smart phones.) But yeah, I've noticed the number of stupid questions has gone up at least 600% in the last year. And, that's okay. Everyone starts somewhere. I wasn't born knowing how to unzip a file.I never considered myself a great expert in the field of computer literacy, but looking at dozens of posts of people who are not able to download and extract the archive to the folder, I feel like just a Computer God. Sorry if I offended anyone.
What worries me is that whenever something goes mainstream, the media is right on its tail. The media will put pressure on payment processors, advertisers, developers, and related websites to adhere to "ethical standards" or be publically shamed. You've seen this pattern before in movies and traditional video games. We'll see how this scene manages it. Some of the games here ... I mean, there is no defending them to normies. You just can't. We're pretty screwed up.
