Help having some problems launching the init settings have the R4 version but when i launch from the init settings nothing happens it is running but there is no UI, I can launch the game from the exe but can not alter the window size or go fullscreen?
I am using Windows 7 have had the game launch before on a previous copy but for whatever reason can not get the UI to show?

Any ideas?

I never said that Jap were into short grat, I notified that Japs are not quite happy with HS2 mostly because they won't get any real new stuff.

AIS need more content and less one click grind, and optimization fixes. All their games are mostly using and reusing the same assets, updating and tweakin them slowly. You dont need another games to learn from, they're just doing things slow because of money and lack of actual competition in the market in their very niche genre. Modders can boost the hell out of it.

Mods only enhance the aesthetics at best and afik, I don't see any mod that can change the gameplay elements completely. That is if you call CHEATING is game-changing.

Mods for Illusion games have been only enhancing the visual aspect. Gameplay-wise, there are none. Cheating girl stats, instant cumming, adding POV, auto-Camera is not really game-changing elements at all.

And don't expect modding for Eroge game to have a level compared to the modding community in normal Video games (like modified completely game quests/ designs/ interaction scripts/ AI/ etc.). It's been 20 years, and the Eroge mod community is rebuilding after the Hongfire collapse. So yeah, dream on!!!

Edited: Just to add more info, look at the 2 top potential 3D Interactive Western Porn games (Project Helius/ Wild Life), they are just bare-bone copy of Japanese Eroge formula, and not even close to the quality of ILLUSION games (and how long are they in development, LOL), despite the income revenue differences between Japan and the West economy. Oh, Don't forget the upcoming SUBVERSE, ok?! We will see how that game will fare.

Those are example of games without concrete game design (changes on the fly with new ideas), leading to prolonged development. Asking for unnecessary innovation is to asking for bankruptcy. So yeah, I would prefer ILLUSION staying the same way they are rather than listening to nonsensical financial bankruptcy strategy of yours.

Those bugs are in the game itself, so no, there is no fix unless a modder can get into the core files or Illusion suddenly realizes these bugs have been in since essentially day one.


That's one of two, the merchant also has items that unlock positions upon purchase. You do not need to carry the items with you to use the positions.


That's probably the post I was talking about when I said I heard it could be done without the skill. My own testing concurs with the findings of yours, though I did also just get something I never knew was even in, the girl jumping off the dock at the beach campsite where you start the game, long after when it was probably added, so it is entirely possible that this is just an extremely rare thing to happen. However, I agree that probably isn't the case and that the skill is probably required.

Hello, my screwthisnoise pack ai girl game gets a lot of bugs recently in H scene. For example:
+ Can not quit H scene
+ The girl is mute
+ Can not change position
+ Free at the "insert sundenly stage" --> dont show option like: insert sud ...

So is there anyway to debug these stuff. Or to know what or which mods cause this?

I encountered the same problem. I was able to fix it by disabling the "Don't Freeze Non-Participants" that's on by default in the Care Bair Package under Plugin Settings.

Reading your posts make me laugh so much how much entitled you are, kid. You're talking as if ILLUSION developer is based on Western regions, making a lot of money. If they did, you'd be right that their game was terribly made. But they're not.

In Japan, I doubt they make a lot of money to be compared with big publishers/ developers like SquareEnix/ Capcom/ Konami/ Sony. From their financial standpoint, they only make enough to sustain themselves. Look at TEATIME, another version of ILLUSION, was closed down despite being founded at the same time as them. You have to be grateful that they're still staying in business, and expanding into the Western market (FAKKU/ STEAM) slowly.

Of course, it's not rare to have Eroge games published in ENGLISH, but it costs a lot of money to hire these Westerner translators/ medium, and chances are some m*therf*cker in the WEST decides to make changes of the ORIGINAL version to fit in their nonsensical propaganda shit (look at the WESTERN outrage on female sexualization in entertainment media, the shitstorm FUNANIMATION doing to the ANIME, SquareEnix's Ethic Department doing to TIFA's revision of her chest, etc.).

Lots of these shits can deal a financial blow to their revenue. So yeah, you should be extremely grateful they decide to publish their games gradually for Western audiences since it's not required for them to do so.

Enjoy the game as it is. Is it terribly made? -Yes, but there is a financial reason behind it. And the mod community is voluntary, and if you think you can make the game better, do so. Complain jack-shit about the game on the pirate forum, yeah, entitled that much, kid?

Not to mention there is a logistical reason for the quality of this game as well. In Japan, being a porn game dev is not thought of very highly, so most people use the porn game studios like Illusion as a stepping stone to the mainstream, which leads to an extreme turnover rate and very little skill growth among them team since the people whose skills grew from a specific game project aren't there anymore.

from what we can read and japaneses flaming illusion, HS2 will mostly be the same as 1 but with AIS engine if im correct. Sort of a lazy job. I suppose, in the best future possible, they will make some personalities dlcs like the old games for Ais. Most people only play those games for the modders nonetheless. More events, voices/personalities, animations and more housing stuff can make this game quite a thing in my opinion. for people who only want short sex scenes there is HS. AI is more about long play term and help forge the girl herself depending on how you treat and fuck her.

The badly implemented grind is mostly the problem

It appears that girls can ask for a lot of mini special events on their own based on their personality in this game, and not just for sex (sleep, cuddles, rest, gifts, dinner...). This one for example is ultra submisive and always ask to let her cuddle and do stuff together.

You are right, this game is not for a quick fap. This game is for those of us who like an actual game to go with our sex scenes. Is it poorly implemented? Yes, especially in the optimization department. No, it is not and never will be the best Illusion game, but it isn't all that bad.

So I used 'Ask for sex', my ninja girl said "yeah, good..." (?), she exposes her boobs, then my character stares at her boobs for like 45 seconds, I click every key on the keyboard, nothing, till I hit Spacebar, then I see all these options, and it tells me at the bottom left to scroll the mouse wheel to 'Start H'.

Wheel Scroll does nothing, Wheel Button does nothing, and clicking any option on that screen also does nothing. I've tried for 2 hours now over and over to to get these people to actually do something but nothing can be done. Also my only option at this point is to hit ESC to quit the whole game. It is no pleasant process to get JoyToKey to work on this game when it first starts, so this is driving me actually insane.

What the hell am I supposed to do once she pulls her boobs out⁉

I think I found out why some players have problems getting the girls to take baths in the nude.

It seems to be tied to the humanity stat, in that there's some hidden variable that "activates" once the girls reach a certain humanity exp level, and unlocks their ability to change clothes when going to the bath.

I did some tests keeping the girls locked at 0 humanity, and bumped up feminity to super high values, but they just went to bathe fully clothed.

When I bumped up humanity, let the game run for a few seconds, and then brought back humanity to 0, suddenly the girls all started bathing nude.

Actually, it's the femininity stat, humanity controls whether they'll attempt to hide themselves if they catch you spying on them in the shower. It's more like there's a relatively minor bug with femininity where they don't go through the motions of undressing on occasion. This also has them occasionally walk around naked afterwards as well.

Sounds like a bug, not uncommon. All you should have to do is scroll up.

Unfortunately this bug seems permanent. Been trying forever. All static controls still work, like face light, character light, Spacebar, and ESC to quit, but the Menu and mouse scroll are just disabled. Does it matter what gender I use? Should I try a futa or something?

As long as you don't use lesbian positions as a male, don't use non lesbian positions as a female, and don't use the threesome position without two NPC girls, gender shouldn't matter. Now that I think about it, it could also be that you hit the space bar, which is something I don't do and I don't get this issue while you do.

I hit literally everything. I believe the spacebar was the last key I tried, which is the only reason I knew mouse scroll was the thing I was supposed to use, cuz space shows all the options. Hititng space again makes all the options go away again, so it really only seems to toggle information. I doubt such a thing would break animations, but I did try mouse scroll after I knew what to hit and reloaded a lot of times. It just does nothing at all for me, regardless of JoyToKey or just trying as normal without it.

This is my first time trying to actually start H. The game works fine in every way otherwise. Even runs better than all the Steam reviews would have me believe. I'm not using the Steam version ofc.

It was not the same as the screen I see when I press Space, but I noticed when I finally saw sex happen that the stuff I saw when I pressed Space last time was the exact same as the thing you see during H. This means the game glitched last time and missed the tutorial, but allowed me to toggle on the H icons, as if H was happening.

I have no idea why but it happens consistently with her. First time I used a girl. I guess I'll just have to try a new game with her and see if it was just some random bug that messed up that save. Either that or go make her futa, but I really don't want every one of my main girls to be futas.

Yeah, the housing system can be annoying. The performance issues are probably due to the poor optimization. Unity games aren't usually like this, but Illusion did not go through the proper optimization procedures.

It is entirely possible the girl who consistently has problems is on a corrupt card, but not so corrupt that she's totally broken, just certain parts of her data pertaining to H. You could try saving her to a new card and see if that helps.
