Have any of the official expansions added anything except new costumes?

Hey guys, I have a frustrating bug and hope someone can help:
Came back to AI Shoujo after a few months, previously used the steam version but now using R9.1.
When I start a new game I get to the fish cooking part on the beach, and discover that the cooking menu in the campfire is empty. The menu comes up but there are no entries listed, no matter how many fish I have on me.
I can progress the quest by using the add all items cheat (which gives me a cooked fish to feed the girl), but the cooking menu remains bugged.
I also tried the 100% save file that comes with the repack, and even in that it seems all cooking menus are bugged. In fact it seems to apply to all crafting menus you get from objects like the alchemy table as well.
I've done all sorts of Google searches to no avail, can't find anything on the wiki either. Any help would be much appreciated.
Edit: Sorry, this was just me forgetting you have to click on the icon in the top left (crock pot in the cooking menu, beaker in the apothecary menu, etc.).

Nope, that's basically all that got done before the vast majority of modders left for Honey Select 2.
Several files in the package seem to be corrupted. I tried downloading the file twice and used both 7zip and Winrar to extract it, but the same files keep appearing as corrupt.
If it keeps extracting after you close the error, it is probably just your extractor program not playing nice with the giant file, some of them are like that, especially WinRAR. If it stops when you close the error, it is corrupt.
Only way I was able to extract was using WinRAR. Despite the error the game does work.
Then try updating WinRAR, it could be out of date or it could just be whining because the file is so big.

AI shoujo modding community have not abandoned the game... In fact both games have the same amount and type of mods. There is a discord about the modding community for those who wants to check out. Nothin very gamebreaking for both games tho
check out some mods made by Someone Called Animal42069, looks like he is fixing fps issues (which is amazing) and hardcore mode, which give the game more playable content, not just girls or studio maps like your usual modding stuff. Hs2 community have barely any gameplayin change mods.

I wasn't talking about mods. I asked about official expansions.
I dunno, I always felt like the end of the game was missing something. Was expecting/hoping for an epilogue-type thing.
Not totally, but the only reason they both have the same number of mods is because it takes very little to make mods for one work for the other compared to other games thanks to their internal similarities that Illusion did intentionally to allow swapping user created assets in either direction. No new mods are being made for this game with anything significant, only being maintained. Hardcore mode came out last year if not the year before and has been around since, I remember talking about it in its early days, mostly about how I would never use it because it is hard enough when the girl constantly collapses anyway and making her collapse permanently once a certain stat reaches 0 was overkill for a porn game.
There are official expansions, but all of them just added items to clothing and building options like those teleport pads. One of them also added the dreaded optimization issues, the low FPS thing wasn't a problem from the start.
Or it could just be the extractor whining because of the giant file. If it keeps going when you close the error, that's probably the issue. If not, it is corrupt.

Nah there is moreso same activity from what we can see in the server these days. Since both games are "the same" they can get both the basic mods in order for the sex part, but AI's sex takes a harder approach on sex scenes than HS2, which is barely a wheel choose your sexpose than actually gameplay. For example you cant even kiss the girl in HS2, in Ai you can even in any sexpose.
In fact Ai has slighty more mods usually because of this, Ai shoujo has the porn of HS2 and the gameplay of its own... Which basegame is pretty terrible. Older games tho have way MUCH more activity than both reunited lol
Yeah, he took the mod and tweaks it once in a week it seems, I might try out Ai again for that and see if more people actually add gameplay and replayabilty in a future if they keep going.
In 2 days Ive seen what Hs2 has to offer, and mods are focused on pussies, dick skin, pregancy and not clipping pussies mostly so far. (that Ai also have at the same time)
the DC server is very recommend for those who wanna take a look at what modders do and what they do not, just ignore the lobbies and chats

I had version r6 and I just updated to R9.1
Hopefully I didn't make my game worse by upgrading.
They aren't the same, only similar, and most of the development that can be used for AI Shoujo can actually be attributed to Honey Select 2.
I guarantee that without the ability to easily port the mods, at least easily compared to porting between games with zero similarities, there would be no production related to AI Shoujo at all because of how badly AI Shoujo performs on ALL systems.
The AI Shoujo and Honey Select 2 situation is somewhat unique given this is the first pair of games to have any kind of compatibility with each other built in. Illusion doesn't normally do that.
Not really, I'm pretty sure R6 already had the problem update that slowed the game, though it has been some time since I updated and I am at least two versions into the ones with major performance issues, so you didn't make it worse, that's not even possible once you have a version of the repack with all official content.

Now, that said, there's a bunch of personality-types that I don't recall from my R6 version.
The tomboy version seems new, for example.
Actually, the bottom four or so entries in the personality list are unfamilair and don't have translated preview dialogue when you click on them.
Are they from an official DLC or something?
