No, the player character cannot be the one getting fucked, this game is centered around the player doing all the fucking. The machines can only be used on the girls for this reason.
Where is this at?
There used to be a script to skip the game and automatically give you whatever you would have hooked, but those scripts broke in practically every update, so I'm not sure if it works now.

Not in my game they aren't, which is why I didn't recognize them, because the only things in my copy that are in Japanese are the DLC base items and clothing items, which quickly translate when selected.
It appears as though something is wrong with your copy, all of that stuff should be fully translated while only the DLC items should remain in Japanese and only for a few seconds as long as your internet isn't slower than usual or down.
Some of them do have a description in their readme or on their GitHub page, which usually has a link file in the folder.

Optimize a bit here and there, polish up the building aspects to be much more fluid, reduce the overall need to grind resources, add in proper romance options and there you go a decent dating on an abadoned island game with strong porn aspects.
Literally everything that makes it an H game, all sex was eliminated without the patch and all genitals were removed entirely.
There will be no optimization or new options, the developers declared this one complete a long time ago and most modders dropped it when Honey Select 2 was found to not have these issues that this one has. The modders that are left are in it to maintain what already exists.
