Yep, you're right. I was mistaken because Screwthisnoise almost entirely repacks Ill* only. Anyway, sadly still no hope for optimization. :-(
Is there a VR option for this or any word on a mod? I couldn't find any options or mod progress. The closest I could get is playing it on Steam VR but on a screen in room which really breaks immersion. It really makes or breaks these games if I watch them on a screen vs playing them on my headset.

anyone has this problem when you try to start a new game? I get "one of your character is broken remove it" and I can no longer progress any further... and can't play the game
This happens when one of the .png files you added is invalid, your best bet ist to remove them all and keep adding them in batches until you find one that have broken file and then get rid of it.

Is there a list of sex skill bonuses? Trying to determine how to earn sex up with each character

From what I gather, there is not "sex skill" like in koikatsu.
Girls earn sex xp by having sex or the prank interaction.
There bonus sex xp depending of some factor such as: climax multiple time, climax together, covered in juices, hard sex, outside sex and girl ask for sex.
Parts developement is increased depending on the position you use and the prank interaction.
Is there a way to get the character maker to register character cards in subfolders? I know AI Shoujo can, but AICOMI and HoneyCome can't by default?
No Illusion / IllGames can do it by default. For their older titles there's a BepInEx plugin that adds this subfolder support to MONO games, but that plugin doesn't work with the newer IL2CPP engine.

god how i wish someone gifted these ILL folks a one month intership at Nintendo so they can finally learn what FUCKING OPTIMIZATION means.
Has anyone tried the latest VR version of Aicomi? I downloaded it and tried to start it, but the program crashes immediately.

Ahh thanks. Played around with both. Any prefrence? Or mod support more for one vs the other?
For now HC has more mods, simply because it come out first and AC is relatively new. And HC has a studio as well (DigitalCraft), AC hasn't. This will probably change over time, and AC might get a studio too eventually. Gameplay-wise similar, but HC has just three scenes with minimal, menu-like dialogs (exactly the same as HS2), while AC has lot more ground, cutscenes and elaborate dialogs (more like KK/KKS).
More importantly, while HC runs smooth and nice (60 or more FPS no probs), AC is so laggish that it's literally unplayable on my computer (the very long loading times make you loose your boner, which kinda counterproductive and an epic fail for a h-game, and even after it's loaded it's about 3-4 FPS only, looking around is a PITA and doing any interaction with a jogging girl is nearly impossible).
Be warned, unless you have a top-shelf gamer PC with superfast disks, cutting-edge top-of-the-line GPU and zillion gigabytes of RAM, don't even bother trying AC, it just won't run properly.
