This may be the same file name issue as seen in Clarke's route. Try making a copy of ResortBackground and name it ResortParallax to see if it fixes the issue. The file path can be seen in your error message.
I've run into a bug in the game. I have only encountered this bug on weekends when returning to the house. The screen backs out. You can still interact with the menu but you are essentially stuck. since you cannot see the environment or character sprites. Saving and reloading does not fix the issue as you are saved to the black screen state.
I get this as well. The only solution I have found is to walk around in the dark and find my way to my bed and sleep. You usually wake up with the lights on. Usually..... I move straight up and then straight right until you hear yourself going up stairs. Then slowly move accross the wall looking for the bedroom door. I imagine you get the idea and know your way to the bedroom and bed.
If anyone has a better, more permanant and less shit solution to this bug, I'd love to know as well.
I usually stayed in on the weekends and if I went out I would go to the hot springs which ends the day without going home.

Can you send me a save of this? I never had this bug but I can send the save to the developer and have him look it up.

Not him, but I have the same problem with the house and Melvin's story, the screen just blacks out.
Attached are a couple more examples. Save 15 is before the bug. Walk out of the house and back in to trigger it. Save 18 is the already blacked out.

I'm going to give him this and hopefully he can fix it. If not, I'll probably have follow-up questions. Ideally you can talk to him yourselves on their Discord but I'll give this to him regardless.

Looking forward to the next bug fix which Starke teases on their discord:
· Fixed a bug during the Garcias route alerting the player to a missing picture 'ResortParallax'.
· Reviewed and updated all of Clarke's busts in the game. You shall no longer receive bugs saying you're missing Clarke's busts in some occasions.
· Updated some menus such as the 'Fallen' and the 'Multiverse' images.
· Updated the first and second voyeur scenes to reflect the correct background. Improved some of the images.
· Created a "Robert Suspicion Meter". Once Ayame reaches "Fallen" state, having sex around Robert will cause the meter to go up. The higher the meter is the more suspicious Robert becomes and the dialogue or the scene changes depending how high it is. This will be in play mostly during Free Roam scenes but we might use this mechanic in some other places.
· Fixed a typo when skipping the time in the couch.
· Fixed an issue that would softlock the game when Ayame came back from the therapist.
· Fixed an even that wasn't triggering during the Garcia's route.
· Fixed an issue that would cause Ayame to be stuck during the porn producer route if the player went back downstairs again after being forced upstairs.
· Fixed an issue where the player would get a black screen when returning home from the Kinky Kittens route.
· Fixed an issue where Ayame would have access to her car randomly during Melvin's route while not having the driver's license or the car.
· Limited the player movement during the day Ayame goes to the Town Hall with Jack so the player doesn't start roaming randomly to better channel new players to actual content.
· Fixed an issue where Ayame wouldn't receive career points even tho the game stated she did and vice-versa.
· Added the new repeatable voyeur scene.
· Added the new repeatable gym scene.
· Created more quests to better direct the player to content.
· Completely reviewed the morality and lust systems.
· Created weather effects during specific days.
· Added new songs to the game.
· Added new sound effects to the game.
· Added new NPC's to the game.
· Added more innuendo dialogues with Robert.
· Ayame and Robert will have a new day where they go to marriage counseling if Robert's suspicion is too high.
· Recreated the intro and the intro map which desperately needed an overhaul. Now displays the name of all the developers.
· More to come. 0.93.3 will be pretty nice

Yeah, I saw that. Looks like they're tackling a lot of bugs and improving the overall quality of the game without focusing on the hentai scenes.
