Actually I don't have any problems if no one wants to share the game. They paid for it and they think the developers deserve to get paid more.

Telling people to leave the forums is also definitely rude as some stated above many people come here to talk about bugs, try out a game, for save files, etc. and end up becoming a customer.

But for those who are already a supporter isn't there already a discord/community for the game? It is rude (I don't know the word to use) for you guys to stay in a thread in a pirate forum and tell someone to pay 10$ when they ask if anyone is going to update a new version. The reasons you guys stated about trying out the game, you have already done that and you liked it and have now supported it. Can't you discuss about the game there in your community if you are offended about people asking for free update in a pirate forum? I mean I don't see any reason for you to be here in this thread.

I'm sorry if I came across as rude, english is not my first language. I don't know how to put the words I want to say properly so I use simple english and I don't know if it is rude.
Keep in mind none of the patreons here told anybody to leave the forum. The only post similar to what you pretend to see, it's a guy asking to support cause he wants to see the route they will do if they reach the 5k$ milestone. On the other hand, someone told to stop bitching about people asking for the update, and leave if they find it boring. I'm here cause i was here before i started to support this project and cause i like to help people stuck with the game, or discuss their ideas/theories about it. And yeah, imho you sound a bit rude, but english is not my first language, so it can be me.

I personally believe in buying a game once and I am done with it and keep getting support as long as the game is updated. I will never pay above 20$ for a porn game and if it comes to steam at that price point I will gladly support it as I think the devs did a great job with the art and sex scenes (I just go to recollection room lol). I personally never even tried the story. It is a porn game I already know what to expect.

I don't like the idea of patreon where you pay every month or for months with updates and in the end you easily end up spending over hundreds of dollars before the game is completed. I can buy a AAA game for 60$ but spending 10$ every month for games on patreon that will take 2-4 years is too much for me.

I don't mind people who do spend it as without them the games won't even be made but I have seen many games (not this one) that extend and milk their patreons. Instead of finishing the game they keep adding unnecessary plotlines, characters, etc. to keep the game going if it is popular. I know it is their money and they can do what they want with it. Hell they may even be very rich and it does not matter to them but in my mind I can't help but think they are being taken advantage of.
I agree. I don't like patreon style of support either, but some projects can only go on with this kind of founds. I find patreon more of "i'm giving money for a project" more than "i'm paying for a game". It's more about helping people realizing their game/passions than buying something, otherwise you'll be almost always overpaying it. I started to play the game here, than i decided to pledge and help them, and that's strange coming from me cause i second your way of thinking about patreon. In the end i started to appreciate the people behind the project, and now pladging is more of paying them a couple of beers every month. I'll do it for a irl friend, i can do it for a e-friend. I see them working hard for it, delivering quality content way faster than other developers, even if they are a really small studio.

None is forcing you to donate, you do what you want with your money. Many people can't even afford 10$ these days, cause they lost their job or dollars conversion is too high for their paychecks.

Damn... I guess this is why Starke avoided this type of forums, to much toxicity from both supporters and non supporters, let's just wait if someone drop the new version and that's it, and please avoid any “Just donate” comments, in a site like this you are pretty much asking for a fight with no reason, let's keep it civil people

Nothing new there, he already publicly admitted through their website, Twitter, Discord, etc. that's exactly the reason why he doesn't go on public boards, the negativity and toxicity.

I avoid these types of issues in every game that is released here, it’s an endless argument

And I thought porn unites people.
not gonna go deep on that but theres literal porn out there made to make you hate certain races/people/genders.

you would think its thing enjoyed by everyone and people would share and be happy, but use it for wrongdoing

Not saying it's you or make it seem like Starke thinks you're that type of person whatsoever, just paraphrasing what he said many times in regards to public forums. I want that Melvin DLC as bad if not more than you. Ayame, Fujiko and Adriana getting freaky in the pub for a full patch? How can you say no to that?

Oh sorry if I was rude. It was never my intention. I should have quoted it properly to not cause misunderstanding. I meant it is rude for the non supporters to tell supporters to leave the forum not the other way around.

But I also found it rude for supporters to tell in pirate site to donate when someone asked for a new version. If they were going to they would have. It was better to just ignore and not say anything at all. It sounded condescending in a pirate site (maybe I'm completely misreading and I apologize it that is the case). I actually appreciate any and all people who are here to help in guiding players about questions in the game. The reason I even opened an account here was for questions. I can always download games elsewhere but the community is very active here.

Everyone, please lets not derail the thread. It will just bring negativity here and to the game. Again I apologize to anyone if I came across as rude.

here you go people skip to 38:35 this is the developer of the game explaining what I've been trying to convey to all of you here. I'm sorry if I sounded rude before, that was not my intention. I just really want this game to do more than just survive, I want it to thrive!

He's basically saying that if we dont
I think I already said why I can't pledge 10 dollars, I'm not from US, so to pledge I need to pay in my national currency wich can easily pass from just 10 bucks to a good part of my salary, which I can't right now thanks to corona, paying through steam is easier since I can pay in my national currency without any currency exchange taxes. No matter if I can download the same game here it's pretty much a fact that I'm buying the game when it's out, but everyone here knows how long Kagura likes to take their time with realeases, that's why I'm politely asking if anyone would share their game to play in the meantime, but yeah if anyone here can pleadge instead of waiting for someone to drop the game, go for it it's totally worth it, and I hope the melvin route dlc can be achieved, when this whole situation calm down I'm totally going to help via Patreon
well that's perfectly understandable I wasn't targeting you or anything I'm just calling on the people that can afford to support the game to do it even if its just a dollar

Is bestiality going to be relegated to a few separate scenes, or something more expansive?
Starke do have a big plan for how this will work - But if I remember correct its "only" 4 scenes - And so far I know it will be implemented as "free roam" activities. And honestly not sure how big it can really be if its only 4 scenes.
We have to wait and see how it will be implemented - And hopefully there is room for it to be expanded upon.

Looks like the $3000 dollars tier was finally surpassed, thanks to the amazing community, and really hope it stays that way, I have the feeling that after February update a LOT of people will be interested in the game, the +18 games with more “bold” content tends to attract more people and the dlcs keep getting better and better, I know that piracy/leak is a touchy subject especially between people who pledge, but at the end everyone here wants the studio to succeed, if we can't pledge at least help out via steam when it's available or recommending the game with other people, either way, hope the best for the team this year and it's community, and yeah we are still waiting for that hero, this month it took it's time XD
Edit: And yeah people if you have the opportunity to pledge, go for it!, the team totally deserves it, and if you can't but you still want to play it from here, please help out spreading word of the game and buy the game when it's available not just for the team but for dignity, nothing it's for free, and there are people's jobs on the line here so let's be fair

I just hope it'll get better financally for them with the next game. Cant really figure why their income keeps declining constantly over several years now. For me personally i've been a Patreon for about 2 years but at some point I cant really justify to myself to keep paying over and over for basically the same game. Maybe other people feel the same.

Dont get me wrong I dont think Starke is dragging anything on purpose, its a massive game for its niche with huge regular updates but its just a personal thing of having reached a certain limit for a single game.
Guess we gotta hope for good sales after the Steam release.

Given that in past two months the high point was 3100$+ and yet they were still 134$ behind means that they need around 3300$ high point. Big problem is that the patron count doesn't seem to recover and is still 50 less then before the 1.0 version.

As for why is it happening i don't think it is productive discussion at this point. No real changes will be made to the project and they are basically all in on Kagura not taking too long.
