Is this an update that hasn't come out or a bug? I have an allure potion and an elasticity potion and I see a heart icon by nightshade inn, yet when I decide on some fun I just get this...

That might be a bug. There are no scenes with Philia that use an elasticity elixir yet though. Just the one where she sucks off the dog and the one where Mina joins in.
I'm still kinda working out the kinks with the notifications, so it's possible that something flagged on accident that didn't get a chance to unflag.

Also, I'm glad to know you like Beth!

Awesome, I had fun and I like that the scenes so far have mostly been more hardcore stuff like beastiality and nipple penetration. I think you should continue taking it in this direction as normal sex between two humans would be a little boring.

Hard disagree. The more you focus on hardcore, the smaller your audience will be. Not everybody is into the hardcore stuff.

This is an html game that uses AI, that alone will that many people disinterested and the way to work around that is to cater to people with more niche fetishes as those people have less fap material they can enjoy than normal people. I wouldn't have downloaded this if I didn't see a goblin with a horse dick on her face.
2. I'm going to assume you either didn't play the game or are speaking on someone else's behalf as if you were the kind of person that got scared away by a girl forcibly getting throatfucked by a lizard in a forest then I highly doubt you'd be playing this. I don't think I recalled anything in here I would describe as 'vanilla' except for maybe the dark elf yuri, but that was directly after you changed his gender using a fucking potion.

When you've just seen midget-Mina get her guts rearranged by a minotaur futa it'll feel like a boring waste of time to see her having sex with a random villager.

I don't wish to make this an argument or anything, as I do see where you're both coming from. I only want to contribute my thoughts to the discussion.

From my perspective there will continue to be a mix of hardcore and non-hardcore scenes, but that said where I draw the line on hardcore is not going to be where everyone draws that line. Like, if someone considers futa (whether natural like Beth or gained from a potion which will happen in the future) or tentacles hardcore then chances are that person will consider pretty much everything in this game to be hardcore.

What I will say though is that there are zero plans to have Mina hooking up with generic village men (or frankly any men at all if I'm being honest haha). I'm also considering how I'll handle scenes with more than one of Mina's friends.
Like for instance if Philia is invited to join in with an Alo'Eth[Library] focused scene, then that wouldn't include bestiality.
But conversely if Alo'Eth were invited to join in on a Philia[Inn] scene then that would include bestiality.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that eventually particular locations will focus on particular kinks, rather than the particular characters themselves focusing on those kinks. There's a good chance I'll even include a tag system at a later date, for better content filtering.

Strongly agree, there are already so few content to this niche tags, and lots of it is just boring to consume. Let's be real people, this game is the best content we have in the bestiality tag in a very long while.

That being said, i must say too that the only human i can tolerate our best girl Mina having sex in this game, is if in the streets of the village lived an very dirty hobo.

Agreed, there are other games I can check out if I want normal stuff. More transformations, more Beth, more monsters. That's my take on it.

This is good. It's not like I don't like hardcore things - I'm a lolicon, I get it - but people have this tendency to pretend like their fetish is the natural state of the universe and everything that doesn't cater to them is boring. That's an incredibly toxic mindset, particularly from a development perspective as you're always trying to maximize both the width of your audience and their enjoyment of the game, and often those two are in opposition to each other in terms of fetishes.

People can, in fact, play games where there is the option of fucking a horse without wanting to fuck horses. Indeed, while being turned off by fucking horses. But it's important, from a development perspective, to realize that time spent on horsefucking scenes appeals only to horsefuckers, and if your game is full of it you're only going to get people who want to fuck horses, which is a very narrow audience. That doesn't make the non-horsefucking scenes boring, or the dev bad for putting them in the game.

How do people feel about something like this? I think I'd make the sidebars toggleable as well, but I think this is a decent way of giving you access to pertinent information without clicking through the menus.

I've always thought that the ability to disable scenes with fetishes the player doesn't like is a great part of any game. Lets the dev put in whatever they want, without having to worry too much about what the wider audience likes/dislikes. As long as it's implemented well of course.

Update day is here, finally!

Version 0.9 - Meet the Homuncuties!

I had no clear idea what I was doing going into this update. I just started adding little features that I thought would make the game more enjoyable and some of those features ballooned out into a whole thing! The Homuncuties were never originally in the plan, but after I added the ability to automate bottles I thought to myself "hey, what about homunculi for automating resources too?" so here we are.

• You can now make another donation at the library. You can only research a couple things there at the moment though.
• One of the things you can research allows you to go through the process of creating a Homunculus servant! These will gather resources for you at a slow but reasonable rate, and they'll scale with Mina's own skill levels. You can also occasionally see them out and about in the world once you've made them. I hope I've made this process clear enough, but we'll have to see
• Added the ability to automatically keep a stock of bottles. This feature becomes available after your first visit to the Adventurers Guild.
• You can now display your inventory and a journal entry on any screen, toggleable at any time.
• You now have the ability to hide any full scene as well as being able to toggle hiding repeatable scenes. Hiding a scene won't prevent you from gaining experience or items and you can unhide any scene by clicking on the title bar for that scene that appears on the page.
• You'll also see tags related to a scene before you click on it
• Speaking of scenes, there's a new scene for Philia. She finally gets to try out the Elasticity Elixir
• The Memories screen now shows how many scenes you've yet to see
• Tweaked the notifications. They'll now be a bit smarter about if you can afford to do a contract, buy a unique item, donate to the library or have the potions needed for a scene
• Added some indications on the home screen for how long timed events have to go until completion
• Fixed the forest guild contract being free
