I don't mind having scenes for losing but they can't be the only means of getting scenes. They're a nice extra but a game that relies solely on them always has a mark against it from me.
Though from what I remember this one actually has scenes outside of game over rapes.

I had the same issue, but I'm using nw from nwjs.io in the F12 debug console I was able to remove it using:
