I had the same issue, but I'm using nw from nwjs.io in the F12 debug console I was able to remove it using:

$gameScreen.clearPictures()

Can't do it it tells me my profile comes from a more recent version of NW.js (had this issue for a while now)

I don't know what to do :x

Edit : Alright Fixed it by editing the commons events and recollection map of the game (you just have to replace the 2 files by those and speak to the clone in the recollection room then you'll be able to do it anywhere by pressing pg down)

I feel extremely ashamed by what I've done as I do not condone editing others games like this ... I also won't take any credit for this as I merely transposed what you did into a game command
anyway here a re the file (might need to be checked by moderator first I'm not sure)

Is this a RPGM MV game? MTL creator probably broke the clear commands by translating them. You can make a new save but at the end of the day it will just keep happening until someone (me probably) bothers to fix it.

Beside the screen overlay it also seems that the crafting at the forge doesn't work and there are images missing: sav004.png and svag008b.png..svag010b.png and svag012b.png (bathing scene) progress in the city seems stalled, possibly also due to bugs. Edit progress statement wasn't true, just hard to trigger.

The game is not complete. It seems like the author is still planning on adding more content in the future and this should have an NTR tag.

Book icon in the Blacksmith house and in the Explorer/Adventurer Guild. No saving from menu in this one, only load. But given how the game works is not really required.

This is quite typical for Japanese porn, whereby a woman by default is not supposed to enjoy sex out of her own open desire.
