The grind is awful and the rewards are minimal. Upgrades get progressively more expensive, being double the cost after just 5 upgrades. The bonuses you get from wasting time during the day are extremely low considering you must spend 1/3rd of your daily actions. This also effectively means you get even less "effect" from any bonus. Items are even more worthless, the chance to find just one is somewhere around 10-20% for the same cost of 1/3rd of your daily action points. It's just not worth it. After looking at the game content files, even the low probability "events" aren't worth wasting time on (if you are very lucky, you get to stare at her ass in the kitchen, her chest in the living room and her crotch in the hallway. Fully clothed).
The result is that I just spam-clicked the kitchen, hoping for the cooking event to increase the relationship stat. Nothing else mattered.
Major quality of life improvements would be:
- Make bonuses actually worth it, like doubling or tripling the effect rather than the current 10-30%. They are only in effect for two day actions!
- Make items actually worth collecting, like doubling or tripling the effect rather than the current 10-30%. They are only in effect for three day actions!
- Make items a guaranteed find, the 10-20% chance of obtaining one is just stupid. If I'm looking for a drink I'd logically go to the kitchen. I won't open a random box in a storage room and pray to RNGesus that I'll get something.
- The grind just to see whether she'll wake up is a bit excessive, there's a plethora of similar sleep molestation games out there that will grant you this power either instantly or within 15 minutes of gameplay. In this game it will require a full year of molestation. If I were to molest someone for that amount of time I'm pretty sure I can tell while blindfolded.
Minor quality of life improvements would be:
- Show the cost of upgrades upfront and for the minus button to actually work so you don't have to cancel and start over.
- Show the effect of your "work" during the day and night (ie. how much her were affected).
