Bad news: He hasn't made an update since the game was pushed back.
Good news: He still have 7 days to be on time for the late April changed release date.
Bad news: He still have 7 days to push back the release date again.
If I were a betting man, and I am it's a serious problem. I say it's getting delayed...... 2 more times. (Or hopefully not don't quote me)

I don't understand how this mediocre unfinished mess managed to get two spinoff games. Happy to see people here act with skepticism rather than blind faith hopefully it's a sign of people getting tired of devs doing the bare minimum while milking their Patreons.
Don't get me wrong though I liked the game which is why I follow the thread, can't really remember why it's been 2+ years after all but it had some unique charm to it.

Didn't even asked the man if there's anything different just straight cutthroating lol. I'll bookmark this thread again since there's a possible continuation project and wait for a demo.

To me that looks definitely StickJump. Constant delay, nothing defined, similarish artwork, no updates for already 2 months on dl-site blogs. Considering also that it isn't a native japanese person (why would he publish there?) and isn't also native english. And also Stick had written in his patreon that he was working alone ( including art ) while you here are saying that there was another artist all along.

The account that posted here, has as nick 'EcchiSanGames'... Like StickJumpGames and like... Wait a sec HentakuGames? Never seen many h-games creator actually ending their name in 'games'.

Trying to do the triple scam now? Scamming japanese community (already getting around 50$ monthy sub in dlsite), scamming the people still paying for nothing (130$ for stickjumps patreon which hasn't posted for 3 years) and with this AI account you have around 250$ with patreon and subscribtester. And all this money with basically no work to show publicly except AI generated/badly drawn content.

Your tone of promise is also similarish to that of StickJump from his patreon where 3 years ago he was claiming to be working on a 2nd game that would be bigger than Skyrim. Here the message:

Soon I'll start posting teasers and screenshots of upcoming new game. It will be a HUGE game. No joke, it will be one of the most detailed and promising projects I've seen in H games industry.

You'll be amazed of how stunning this new project will be, so please, be in tune.

The Mastodon of H Indie games coming. And it's massive.

A lot of talented people involved in development. I spent thousands of hours making it, and thousands of dollars investings into this game, and all that thanks to you all.

There is no great and promising game possible if no support and money invested in it. YOU'RE making big and amazing projects, and no Skyrim or Witcher or World of Warcraft possible without people that invested into making it.
So there are mutiple scenarios:

- you 3 are the same people, scamming around the world, as i previously wrote
- stick and you are the same person and you are fueling hope to people with bad art (just look at that manga cover hand and feet), the artist actually went solo
- 3 different people which means the japanese page game might actually get released one day (no hope for your or sticks)

As some may know I was going to make a unofficial port of this game onto another engine for stable. I got in Touch with the StickJump team. and talk with them soon learn that the game is getting a revamp. the old artist is not in the team "ecchi-san". So i show the team my tech demo of AAR and the Devs has invited me to work with them instead. so yes the game is in development at the moment in unity.

the cover art you saw was from our new artist who did only a concept. I'm working on redoing all the ArtWork. As some of you know stick and ecchi were never really communicating with each other Stick and Hentaku is the animator and ecchi was the artist. which is why AAR was full of A.i Art everywhere in all the backgrounds. I aim to fix that. we are adding game mechanics that were going to be in my port into this game. Stick lives in Ukraine and Ecchi-san live in Taiwan.

You keep getting upset, acting indignant, but you've provided no evidence that any real work has happened. You've posted some cover art and some sketches. That doesn't prove anything other than that *those* have happened. Aside from the fact that those aren't what anyone cares about or asked for, it proves nothing about what's happening with the money you *have* been given, nor does it prove any work has happened on the game.

I'll believe this isn't a scam when you release an actual update to the game. A few sketches mean nothing and you having a subscribestar just means you haven't given them false info on who you are. It doesn't validate what you're doing as a non-scam. People make nothing-burger scams on subscribestar and patreon and shit all the time. "Work is totally happening on the game, just pay past the paywall to see thats definitely probably true". Yeah, that's totally not suspicious /s.

Wanna dispel the doubts? Post game progress *here*. Release a demo. Actually prove you're not just using some lame cover art for a manga nobody asked for as a means to draw people into a scam subscription. Hell, you haven't even provided any proof of a blessing from StickJump, the guy nobody has heard from in months.

And btw, the art on that cover doesn't look great. I wouldn't be acting like *that's* the defining part of your project. If any of the new art for the game looks like that, things are going to go poorly. Wtf is going on with the feet there? Why does her left leg look fucked up? Why does her head look the wrong size for her body? The original art for this game was the good thing it had going.

Very nice post. I pretty much have posted same thing and got laughed at by DEV (They are supposedly broke and have now lost my donation), and like I've said before to the DEV (or DEVS) stop defending yourself and prove something

People who want a discussion on the remade game, there is a discord for it

I was a big fan of the AA - I even supported when SJ was releasing somewhat frequent updates and was quite active on discord. Then he broke the trust and disappeared. So, Ecchisan and Hentaku, you both seem to work on continuation of this dead project. Only time will show whether or not you are a continuation of the scam too. For me, I believe in presumption of innocence. So you both will be innocent until proven guilty. But please don't expect me or anyone else here to sponsor your work until solid proof is shown and that might take time. I believe you understand the reasons. Ecchisan is already SJing the whole thing I would say, so my hopes are more on Hentaku.

Godspeed, and please don't disappoint us. Cheers.

That's too much energy (and time) defending yourself. It's entirely pointless, just go work on your project for your own good, as well as your paying members. Don't come back to respond for every little critic/badmouthing, the more you defend yourself, the less credible you get because you spend too much time here arguing with pirates than working on your project. You are not "winning" here, the only winning you need to do is produce your game (and manga whatever). Just don't come back, forget this post, in fact unwatch this. You don't need inform here, words will get around anyway, especially if you release a demo of your game and it gets leaked.

lmao we already have that done awhile back but then. i came up with the idea that the backsplash would change as you progress in the story. so now we are redoing that part again.
