I downloaded straight from Grimhelm's site and got it to work. Weird that it worked there, but not from the one I downloaded here.
How come the F1 "full" gallery unlock isn't working?
My guess is, it was removed from the game. But even editing the save file te unlock the gallery leaves animations 29-33 disabled and 28 is the same as 1. The facehugger animation is not even listed in the gallery.
Because this forum has v13, and he released an extra patched version like yesterday called v13A, where the F1 gallery unlock works.I downloaded straight from Grimhelm's site and got it to work. Weird that it worked there, but not from the one I downloaded here.
You beat me this time... makes me really depressed though. I've spent the last 4 hours adding more detail to the map and I was finally almost done, I'm a little bit before the last Boss D:Here's the current map layout (13A), map; courtesy of AugoeidesCrowley. And ofc detailed by me. Please let me know if I missed anything. The enemies are relative to the dot position since sometimes they move (including eggs) and on the "EGGS" note are rooms where viable facehuggers can spawn once the green card is collected. The green (same color as enemies) doors are enemy doors, hint, the same color.

The game itself "spoils" the room by marking it light blue so...I purposely left out the powers that you get from Bosses, since that's spoilers for some people
That's not what you should have said imo, because the bomb is ideal for the robot boss (like you really need it or you're beating it in a reasonable time.) They ARE, however, pointless to mark since the boss room is already marked through base game and I don't know any game that, after beating a boss, doesn't reward the player in some way (other than progressing the game ofc.)and their not really necessary to advance the game, anyway.
I also thought about not adding potions but potions are great for those who might just want to; Pass through tough enemy areas/Whirlwind the shit outta them. And the eggs were added because the first time you encounter them they're already opened and after getting the green card they're closed waiting to open. Most people won't look at those until it's too late so I marked those rooms as a warning.potions are pretty common drops
Yeah, that's why I went ahead and marked them as Boss Rooms, especially cause wanted to fill in some gaps; I put way too much damn time into a map for a porn game xDThe game itself "spoils" the room by marking it light blue so...
I wasn't really thinking about that. Yeah, the bombs get you through some spots, and I do use them a bunch on the other bosses, following a couple of spinning jumps (dropping the bombs while you descend), and I'm not sure if you noticed (or maybe I've only noticed cause I've had like 4 play throughs so far xD), but when you use bombs on the Robot, it doesn't seem to raise it's shield. That's not what you should have said imo, because the bomb is ideal for the robot boss (like you really need it or you're beating it in a reasonable time.) Yeah, idk. I thought about doing it, but I had enough on my plate as it was. It took me like 7+ hours to do everything and detail the map. Yours does look nice with all the dots on it though; I hate how I have too many open gaps, and I thought about adding good experience farming spots to the map, but for now, I'll just leave it as is, unless someone asks me to add something. I didn't think such tiny dots would show up well against the gray background either.I also thought about not adding potions but potions are great for those who might just want to; Pass through tough enemy areas/Whirlwind the shit outta them. That's why I didn't really wanna go the extra mile and make everything super nice. The map isn't done which means the whole layout could change on the finished project. But since there was no color coding for the doors on the map, might as well add the other stuff. At least, that's what I think.I didn't want to have to recolor everything and start over again.
Yeah, my OCD and pride doesn't allow me to half ass things, unfortunately. Plus, I like to do detailwork, I GM a lot of tabletop stuff, so I couldn't resist going the extra mile. So, instead of sitting down to play something on Steam, like I originally wanted, I dumped my entire evening into without realizing, haha. Even now, I've gone back and made a couple changes to the map. If I have the patience for it, maybe I'll use your idea, and add monsters to the map some time, if not just to make the map look more colorful. That's why I didn't really wanna go the extra mile and make everything super nice. I'm pretty sure there's a way to edit the game beyond that. Someone a couple pages earlier in this thread had a screenshot they were asking for help in, and I noticed they had like 17,000 MP. Another person edited the code, and was able to access weapons and powers that weren't implemented yet, but you can't access any extra animations this way, since they aren't actually in the game. Although based on screenshots from Grimhelm's Project Plan, those are basically done.Fucking hell, it took me a dedicated hour and a half to do everything in this (considering I used Cheat Engine to hack stats and such) and there's A TON of stuff here... and this is just 30% of the main game?! Very impressive...
Also, if anyone is attempting to hax the game, everything seems to land under "4 bytes" so have at it. but even with my crit maxed out, level 50, and 999 in all stat points (aside the crit one which is 201), you can still blow MP rather fast with the bombs, poison wave, and shield (especially the shield which is pretty much 5 seconds of total invincibility).
In fact, my HP was over 5100 and my MP was over 4000 this way... Only real reason I hacked was because I didn't feel like grinding to level 35+ again...
I originally wanted to be specific about the kind of monsters actually. There's the hints of the green dots in relative position (flying, wall hanging, etc) but figured it too much work and would be confusing.I'll use your idea, and add monsters to the map some time
I'd useAlso, if anyone is attempting to hax the game, everything seems to land under "4 bytes"
Nice job on doing the map. I checked the bonus items out to see if i missed any. You show 6 HP + 50 , 3 ATK + 20, 3 Mana orb, the same as i found but you are only showing 2 MP + 40 on the map, I found 3 so you left out one of the MPs. I do not remember where the left out MP. I would have loved to have this map before i started the gave, it would have saved me a lot of time looking for items. Finally got my map done, and it only cost me literally my entire Monday.

I didn't think eggs or potions needed to be added to the map, since eggs are just enemies (although, early on they are good for farming levels), and potions are pretty common drops (especially against the queen aliens, which are the best Experience in the game, at the moment), but I tried to be as detailed and easy to view as possible.
I purposely left out the powers that you get from Bosses, since that's spoilers for some people, and their not really necessary to advance the game, anyway. Hopefully this will help people from getting lost and what not. Maybe someone can add my map to the main entry, as an optional download or something?
Even more weird is that their panel is present in an earlier version of the game, like I said before. Seems like an oversight.Which is weird since the enemy is there and has actual screen time with the player.
Just FYI, the Xenomorph Queen is not in the game yet. What we've encountered thus far are just regular Xenomorphs that happen to be female. The Queen has a different head, and (at least in the movies) four arms.especially against the queen aliens
Sure, that route is simpler, but it does not allow you to freeze any values. I've made myself a CE table that has the values for current and max HP and MP, all four stats, your stat points, and whether you have clothes on or not. Especially the current MP and HP are handy, because then you can just freeze those and spam bombs or whatever and plough through enemies if you wanted to.I'd useYou must be registered to see the linksinstead. It's much more simpler.
If the game was done I'd use that table just for that. Wish there was an option for it, like if you beat the game or something like that. Would be kinda redundant at that point but still, the idea.and whether you have clothes on or not.
I'll probably remake the table when the game is done in four years. If the game was done I'd use that table just for that. Wish there was an option for it, like if you beat the game or something like that. Would be kinda redundant at that point but still, the idea.
