I would be surprised if there was any place that you could follow Grimhelm's progress. The guy is notorious for his long radio silences. Luckily he has always delivered thus far. The best thing you're gonna get as far as I know is the Patreon page, which is sometimes updated with animations.

Which has been disappointing and frustrating. I don't mind waiting. But a simple monthly status update isn't too much to ask to let the people giving him money that he isn't dead on the street somewhere or just stopping work.
I get that creators can get burned out and real life happens but a simple "Hey I'm not dead, I got this fone." Once a month or even every other is not that unreasonable IMO.
His art is great (even if I prefer smaller breasts than he uses) and games are generally good so I want him to succeed but these massive gaps don't help him. :/

I don't think in this case it matters that people are giving him money, because he didn't want to open a Patreon page to begin with. His fans wanted to support him and that's why he made a Patreon. And those fans would've already known that Grim does not develop quickly and doesn't provide updates often.

I'd also like to see more frequent updates, but frankly I'm happy that he provides previews on Patreon at all.

Yeah, I remember when it was 8 months of silence and fear of either the game or him being dead. Now at least we know he's alive and well.

Grimhelm has other games, Dungeon and Maid being the closest in comparison to it, but there isn't many... "Metroidvania" porn games outside of this, Kincrad (Which isn't human protag but is a decent metroidvania porn game) and uh... I believe Crisis Point Extinction...? (I've seen Crisis but I haven't played it yet.)

Also this is something extremely common for Grim, it took him... 2 years to release the second demo...??? It also happened with his other games too.

Another addition, his patreon updated december of last year/ Check "that site" or sub to his patreon. Showed a bunch of animations coming eventually in the next demo whenever that will happen

Try the games from LibraHeart, japanese dev so japanese games, but some of them are pretty solid metroidvania.
