It doesn't bother me that I can't date Mary in this first chapter. That wasn't the issue. The issue was the forced date right after finding out that Mary has a crush on you. It just didn't make any sense at all.Fair criticisms. It certainly was not my intention to "trick" anyone, which is why I did make them skippable. (minigames). I apologize to those who dislike it. The choices (forced and not) make more sense in context with the larger story. Suffice to say the "choices" you would like or expect, they do come around later, but not this early. This was more of a really basic introduction than anything else. I will give a (small) spoiler - initially I was going to wait and release CH1+2 at the same time, I decided to break it up into single chapter releases. In Ch2 is where you get to make the first decision whether or not you wish to pursue Mary, but this early on, no not yet.
I am definitely already considering an option to have minigame NOT affect the story (since they're already skippable) - I underestimated how much ppl hate them lol. I definitely will NOT be removing them though. They'll always be skippable, but I may change how they affect the story (so they don't). As far as "forced choices" go - that will happen sometimes in this game. The more it progresses, the more divergent the paths become, and the more your choices matter, but the first 2 chapters are fairly linear - the majority of the choices you make now matter later on, but aren't apparent yet.
I totally understand that won't be for everyone, and hey if it's not for you, that's ok. I appreciate you giving it the time anyway.
If your game is not a harem game, then don't force relations on the player. Don't force me to have sex with Gaby who sleeps around with everyone and don't force me on a date with some random girl who I just met a couple minutes before. And then you say more of these forced situations are going to happen in the future. Also, this will *NOT* be a harem game. (My next one I have planned is, but again, that's looking way way ahead.)
wait....no harem?...THAT'S IT! I'M OUTTA HERE!...(throws papers on the floor and storms out....Door slams...Sure. None of the ones you listed will be in this game, nor will incest. Overall this game will remain "fairly" vanilla. This is getting WAY ahead of things, but I do already have a story planned for another game (which, unless someone wants to come along and do renders for it in which case I can do both at once, I will finish this game entirely before I get to it), and a "basic idea" of another. NONE of them will contain any of the ones you listed, except for the sharing/mmf and dom tag (which again, won't be in this game, but may be in future ones if I get there).
As far as this one goes, it'll remain relatively vanilla (at least by the standards of this site). The only real "fetish" I can think of that might make an appearance is feet. It's something I've never been into personally, and always stayed away from but... idk. Making this game seems to have awakened something in me. We'll see.

Just seeing that the game includes forced content and minigames makes it an immediate pass for me. No matter how great the story I don't want to deal with forced content nor do I want to deal with minigames (even if they are skippable). I play these games as "choose your own adventures" and I don't really want the character I am playing to do things I don't him to do for the sake of "plot".Fair criticisms. I think more people have the same opinion as you than the developer realized before starting this project. We will see how it goes over the next few days.Just seeing that the game includes forced content and minigames makes it an immediate pass for me. However, I am sure that I am in the minority on that and there is an audience for your game.
Well then I may give this one a go, thanks for the replySure. None of the ones you listed will be in this game, nor will incest. Overall this game will remain "fairly" vanilla. You asked for typos. I have not played the game, but I noticed an incorrect word in the Overview. "You've lead a pretty boring life so far, so many this is the perfect opportunity to change things up, and feel what it means to be Alive." I think the underlined word should be maybe, not many. I'm an experienced English editor of games. I won't correct all the typos if there are many. It's often too much work for zero compensation. I'll try your game and see how it goes.
I played through the game. I didn't look for typos, but none stood out to me. It's off to a decent start. It has promise.hopefully there aren't many..... I type very fast, but not always very accurately, so I end up relying on spellcheck pretty heavily. Most of the "wrong" fixes I catch, but the occasional one slips through (Like many.) particularly when I'm tired. So there shouldn't be too many, but there's definitely a chance a few slipped through the cracks
Instead of being coy like I have been, I'll be direct. The stats directly influence the endings of the game... BUT you are not locked out of any ending if you skip minigames entirely - they are simply going to be the "easier" path, and require less sacrifice. What I'm saying is, to get certain endings without minigames, you'll have to play the game one way, with minigames a different way. So it doesn't lock you out of anything, but skipping them will change the way you play if you intend to achieve certain endings. When I played back through looking for the mini-games I finally found them (after a bit).
I'm not really a fan of mini-games, especially in games where they impede game progress, but these are pretty harmless (so far). Seems kind of optional unless those stats become critical. No deal killers by any means.
I wasn't going to skip them entirely (now that I quit being lazy and found them ) , obviously those type of stats are going to count for something - as a player we never know how critical it's going to be (and don't tell us!!!). Some games you "die" for lack of stats, some you just miss out on stuff, some just takes longer. These stats look important, but since the minigame isn't forced, it feels to me like a point or two isn't going to kill me. I'm more inclined to play them now that I've seen what the stats are and how "easy(? playable? whatever)" the minigames are.Instead of being coy like I have been, I'll be direct.
