So in the years since I last played this game, and a little bit of what I've gathered from this thread.

-The sex scenes were removed
-Bugs still aren't fixed
-Combat is still jank and doesn't work
-It released on Steam
-Didn't get the sex scenes back since being released on Steam
-Steam version is worse than standalone

EDIT - He's also removed Almastriga from his Twitter Bio, so he's clearly stopped promoting it.

So this entire game went backwards and people still expect it to be finished? This game is abandoned.

I don't visit this thread often, but I stop by every now and then to get a glimpse to see if anything has improved, clearly it hasn't. Steam forums aren't much better either.

Okay i finally caved and used cheat engine to give myself infinite hp to see if maybe there were new scenes, so heres go what i have encountered, the new area the forest is super buggy, it also is the only way to farm the new monster the plant girl, which btw is the only new actual CG scene as far as i am aware, the 11 scenes must include the 4 npc couples that fuck during random times at the hub world, which means there is 7 cg scenes the drowner, the stumpy guy, the gargoyle, the brute, the succubus and the shadow boy with the plant girl being the only new scene apparently added in 2 years, and thats not even the best damn part, once you get far enough and do all the bullshit fetch quests to be able to actually get to the sex scenes the fucking menu doesnt even work, as in once you "farm" a enemy the menu is frozen and you can not select a different scene, meaning if you did what i did YOU LOST ALL THAT PROGRESS AGAIN.

TLDR; game didnt in fact add new scenes its 11 scenes we have all seen already and the game is more broken then cyberpunk on launch.

Damn so the 11 new scenes is complete bs? This is really just a waste of time for everyone then including the creator.. Taboo needs a new project already he has serious potential unless he/she lost interest in nsfw content. Bunch of bullshit talismans and fucks the point of upgrades if the dragon sword is a one shot kill anyways and im having to spam F on the large enemies. If i wanted gameplay ida bought a ps5 already. Crazy how people defend this after 2 years of patreon support there shoulda been a little something storywise.

seems this just demo version, as soon you find copy version of your character, you get message thanks for playing pop up. There's no way this made it to steam, if so please do not give this dev or devs money, this game is bad, nothing was changed or fixed its still buggy as hell and combat is super janky or unresponsive

Oof this demo was ROUGH. Bugs, glitches, be it gameplay, physics, animations, combat, enemies, UI or controls.
Was it not for experiencing the CGs and Cheat Engine I would've never tried it out.

the scenes are not deleted, they need to be obtained in a different way, the point is that after so many years we again got the same demo version, only slightly redone, + 1 new scene with a flower.

I mean, there are several porn games I enjoy that I don't actually find "fappable". They are good enough games on their own that I don't even care.

But yeah, I hate when people essentially say that porn games are ONLY for getting your rocks off and not meant to be enjoyed otherwise. A few trolls like to mock people for having discussions about anything besides the porn content and "fapability" of these games.

Hate to break it to you, but there are porn games out there meant to be enjoyed for more than just masturbation material.

Also, many of the highest-rated games on this site are ones with interesting stories, decent characters, and even some with good gameplay too. Sure, most of them overall are pure fap fodder but there's some actually good stuff out there too worth playing for more than just simply getting off.

(Edited to add example: Almost nobody is going to play the VenusBlood games, Rance series, Evenicle, Dungeon Town, or other similar titles only for the pornography included in them. That'd take a really strange amount of dedication considering the time investment needed. I personally enjoyed Castle Evil which is a decent metroidvania and I don't even find that game's porn aspects all that appealing; not bad but just not "fappable" for me.)

Like, what is the point of saying "NO. This game MUST be hard as diamonds with NO way to lower the difficulty." What. Is. The. Point?

Why, as a person who's goal is to sell your product to as many people as physically possible, would you restrict your own market by actively making your product inaccessible to a large portion of people who would want your product? I get why Dark Souls does it, it's their (stupid) gimmick. "Check out our game, it's hard as shit, but that's what makes it UnIqUe."

In an "industry" like this, indie porno games, you don't have AAA funding. You quite literally cannot afford to cut off 80% of the potential audience of your game if you want developing these games to be your meal ticket. So why the white-knuckle clinging to absurdly hard gameplay? Do I have to prove myself worthy of your perfect art? If so, why? Or do I have to prove myself worthy of touching my own penis to your art? Again, if so, WHY? I come to F95 to try games out. If I like them, I support them. I will not be supporting this game because as it stands, I cannot experience this game. Because of this moronic one difficulty only choice so many others in this industry make, this game is now potentially making $10/month less than it would be if I could select "easy mode" at the very start.

What, I ask for the billionth Goddamn time on this site, would be so devastatingly wrong with adding an "Easy," "Medium," and "Hard" option to the game so that others -who don't spend their free time speedrunning Dark Souls blindfolded with a Guitar Hero controller using only their left foot while hanging upside down while simultaneously playing the Free Bird solo on harmonica- can actually play the damn thing?

Admittedly it shouldn't be hard for them to at least add an easy mode where they just reduce enemy health and damage output and/or increase the player's health and defense. That'd be the most basic way to do it.

Don't get me wrong, this game still needs a lot of work. I'm really hoping they get everything figured out eventually.
