bro taboo couldve been making so much money if he just made a regular rpgm game. on his own, literally not even hard to do. his art beats all the top game devs.
That's the literal last build that will be available. I'm not sure when it was posted, but I grabbed it from the patreon on that date.

This is basically unplayable. The combat being bad is something I can handle but I can't do much when my GPU is running at ^95% any time I'm in an enemy area and half my inputs aren't read. What's also weird is that the CPU and Memory are practically 0. I've never had any program or game do this before. Not sure what I can even do to combat this.
It's unfortunate because I love a good action platformer even if this game is dead.
And it's games like these that I use this site for before buying them on Steam.

V44 doesn't do this.
It looks like he added content, the GOG/139 version is twice the size.
But he broke something in the engine.
v44 is playable, just for a cute girl sidescroller.

I got this on Steam and the gameplay is terrible. It could use a lot of polishing. Sad since the artwork is amazing.
Edit: Just checked out my steam list of games and found the game was for some reason unlisted. Just to double check, I also visited the steam store and found the game is gone.

see if you can get a refund from steam. Taboolicious is a great artist but the programmers they have have always caused issues with all their games. CougarX looked amazing and played like shit, this game went through so many redos and played very poorly in every version. Art has never been a problem I think if I was making a game I'd try too get taboolicious to help with art and maybe story but have someone else code and use a better engine than Unity. it makes the worst sidescrollers immaginable. Godot or UE5 would clearly be better however the more key frames you need with all the animations the more work for the artist.

look, i can play pretty much games like dead by daylight on high yet this game barely uses 2% of my cpu and dies trying to run.

This game has long been abandoned bro, you're way too late. The game is pile of unoptimised shit, always has been, now always will be.

i didn't said i expected updates, i just have a obsession to explore abandoned games in general, i just wondered what was wrong with this one.
Poor management, Poor time management, half the staff were volunteers so no priority was given, not even by the lead dev, who is an artist first and foremost, not a developer, major lack of any actual QA, met with an immediate and large amount of feedback, no consistency with updates let alone actual game updates.
Game was announced as abandoned due to lack of effort and not being to dedicate the time to fix any issues or to add new content, because everyone had basically long given up at that point.
TL did say he'd release all the artwork related to the game but so far not much else has been released. So he can't even keep that up.

Holy fucking shit first damn game in here that got me running at SINGLE DIGIT FPS.
Not even Fallen Doll runs as bad as this god forsaken "game"
Even Cyan Brain (Running in a unity engine too) with arguably better lighting gets me over 100+ FPS if uncapped.
I know im necro'ing a thread but if anyone wants to "try" this game, just dont.
