I have to say, like in another game (Origin Story or so), having a sidekick would be interesting. I think dev(s) could do a lot more with Chloe as sidekick. Going back together etc...
But unfortunately there always those people complaining about lesbian interactions and such. I personally think it's ridiculous having 1 mc fucking every girl in the story, when the girls aren't even allowed to touch each other during a 3some/4some/orgy whatever.
The scene where Chloe has sex with mc's 'mom', I can imagine it being removed, and just making it a kissing scene, because it was a bit too fast. But I still love to see something like that. In the competition idea like: if you fuck my mom, I will fuck yours.
In the Artifact, it was just MC doing around fucking everyone. But in this story they have the opportunity to make her a sidekick. I really love the idea...
I don't have a problem with lesbianism in stories, even among the MC's own harem. (Harem isn't one of my fetishes, but neither do I shy away from games with that fetish.) TBH, in most cases harems are pretty unrealistic anyway; there aren't actually many women (percentage of total population) in the world that would be OK with an open relationship generally, unless their culture already has harems as a regular part of society. Outside of those cultures, it would be even more especially resisted if that openness is only one-sided (the core principle of a harem). A single male with a dozen women isn't realistic in most cases. That's why they both have to be well-written and set up in such a way that would validate their existence. (A single man with many women being the only remnants of humans in the entire world, for example, would necessitate it for survival of the human race. Or an MC from a culture where harems are already established, like with sultans, isn't hard to imagine.)
I don't see it being logical here, so I don't worry about whether the women can touch one another or not. The premise for the harem is already ludicrous on its face. I play for the lighthearted entertainment of this game, not for a solid course in logic. Anyway, I guess IJS that I'd be find either way. IDK what you're referring to with
Chloe having sex with Julia (the MC's mom); do you instead mean Penny, Julia's
wife? (Or maybe Penny's her partner; I can't remember if they're for sure married.)
A second idea/reply:
I personally don't like a female protagonist, that goes around and fucks all man, old/fat and ugly. So having her + MC, going around fuck all girls, would be a nice addition.
You are right she is in a lot of scenes, but she is a bit underused, it mostly a build up. Something that they should do with the other characters too, else it looks un-even. Of course they are slowly building up the relationship form BFF, to FWB(F). I only hope it doesn't stay only like that, so she just will be one of his conquests, she does have a thing for girls, I hope they explore that too. I would suggest it a missed opportunity if they don't, just because some cry babies don't like to see lesbian interaction. It could of course be optional like cutting out the scenes for those with with weak hearts muscles or so...
Of course my suggestion would be that in the end she might be MC's daughter too. But then everyone might be. Who knows, we will see. Wonder how they spin that around patreon. It's really a shame that patreon goes against these kind of games, because in this an the artifact, it's a great complex story. I mean Futurama wasn't cancelled either, and he was his father's father too.
Not sure what FWB(F) means; "friends with benefits... friend"? But yeah, I get the slow build-up. And I don't care all that much if more of her scenes come first; it's ICCreation's story, after all. While I have my druthers, I'm perfectly fine waiting for however long I must for scenes with the preferred LIs I have. And, of course, I don't dislike
any of the LIs at all, so all of the scenes are enjoyable to me, regardless of which girl's turn it is.
As for your proposal that she be MC's daughter as well: if you're talking about Chloe, the answer is almost certainly yes. Heavily hinted at, pregnancy in the past has timing that matches, attributes the MC has are found in her as well, etc. I can't see how Chloe could
not be the MC's child. For any other present-day characters, the MC won't be their father. ICCreations has already said he's not going to do a MC-could-be-his-own-father type of thing in this game. I might be remembering incorrectly, but I believe that's been discussed already in this game's thread, that neither Natalie nor Kim would be the MC's daughters from the past.
