Ren'Py Altered Destiny [v0.14.2b] [ICCreations]
I downloaded the update only, the main menu still says 14.1b... is this normal, and fully functional, or do I need to get the full download, instead?

It only took 2-3 days for me.
I have no idea why those events wouldn't show up for you ...
You did do the quests before that am i right ?
Edit: Anyway here is a save with all the new story content ...

No, that is not normal, are you sure you copied all the files of the update only into the folder named "game"?
That would be the problem, I just dumped them into the main folder. Thanks.
I can't find that page. It tells me what's there, but no IP and no individual DL. Also, no idea what pixel is or how to get there. I've been doing this too long to get such bad advice and useless directions.

Go to my compressed post, either pick PIXELDRAIN Windows or the update only, open the link....
I'll do the directions again; we will use the "update only for instance", click show files in archive (Vikingfiles offers this feature to).
Now you will see this
Click download on the incest patch...
PIXELDRAIN (and Viking) offer this feature to just download a single file out of an archive.
This is why I also add the incest patch in my compressed posts so people can get them easily if another host is down.
Also, with your MEGA issues, log out of your account, clean your cache and wipe, this is probably why it redirects you, or you have an add-on installed redirecting you.

love this game, but ill be honest, if you play if from start to where its now, its really great, has great moments, but lately these updates have felt very boring, slow, really slow and short. Not sure if its my imagination, but it feels like the content has become less and honestly this game should come to a head, its dragging out way longer than it should. I mean yes the dev could keep telling stories inside the main story, but thats not where the interest is (while there are "fun" side stories, they just short lived and infrequent), adding the short, infrequent updates and its losing its luster as a fast rate for me 
my biggest gripe with this game is how the breasts look smaller in nude/sex scenes than they do in clothing, like take example Lily they look she has the biggest besides Kasandra but during the nude/sex scene they look way smaller. or even gwynn they look smaller during sexual scenes.
also, for a game from 2020, why hasn't there any penetration scene for the milfs....

Well I intentionally waited and played both parts of 0.14 together, and there were events after coming back to the present. If you don't see anything with 0.14.2 you should try to replay the pool party event and check after that.
I just played this game. It's one of the best games I've ever played. I admit, I'm completely hooked. Thank you for creating such a great game.

One major difference is that far more characters are involved here, and with the flashbacks they introduced two important narrative layers. That automatically stretches out the development. In FILF, the cast was much smaller.
I think one of the reasons the dev paused Altered Destiny and then worked on and finished FILF was exactly that — pushing a plot forward with so many characters is much more exhausting. You have to keep track of way more things in terms of story progress and overall structure.
