Does the story just not progress if I refuse to sniff the therapist's feet?

It doesn't! But that isn't intentional. I went and took a look at the progression and there is no way forward. This was probably a hold over from when that scene was new, and there was nothing else to see so it didn't matter if you didn't progress. I'll fix it in the next update!

Considering the MC's girlfriend inevitably meets a new "male friend" like, 2 events in her storyline, and the only choice the player gets in this regard is whether she's going to talk at length with MC about her sexual activities with said friend, or engage in them behind MC's back, probably prudent to give this one netorare/netorase tag(s)? Not like it's any real surprise in this genre, but you know.

I have limited time and energy to work on my projects. When I sit down to write I want to toss this little idiot into the fire and torture him. And I hope to make people happy by letting them live out their submissive desires vicariously through his torment.

Something to keep on mind: while, as a dev, you can get your rocks off effectively being a sadist towards a pathetic sad sack, the player doesn't have this option. They are forced to inhabit the shoes of that sad sack, and to be placed on receiving end of such hostility and contempt (something which bleeds through the writing) can be too much for many and limit your audience. There's difference between submissive desires and being plain hated and abused with no respite. The latter just gets tiresome (and dare i say, boring, because it's just mashing the same few notes over and over) quickly, like bad goth poetry.

This is great, although it doesn't seem to have changed much since I played it a year or so ago.

If I am not fooled by the timestamps, this seems to be a new release. What has changed?

There is a scene where the player can suck a guy's dick! That's pretty gay. Then again it's kind of out of the way, so maybe that tag isn't too appropriate?

I know I'm late to this by a good two years, but yeah. No. The tag isn't even remotely appropriate. It's showing up in the "gay" tag list, like a lot of these CLEARLY straight-oriented femdom games do, and it's frankly really infuriating to actually gay men like myself and others who would really love to not have straight porn show up in our feed, the same as how straight men would doubtless love to not have our porn show up in theirs.

I am not going to say much by way of reply but it's not because I didn't read and digest your post, there just isn't much for me to say.

The clarity was helpful! I have a firmer grasp on what you mean. Not defending it per se but early stuff was written just as I was getting a handle on how to use Twine so it is kind of limited. Reading what you had to say has given me a bit of inspiration to go back and consider where I can inject some more choice and option.

Maybe the player could have a chance to more proactively try to cover themselves in the bathroom, but doesn't fully succeed. Leading to some awkwardness but far more understanding. That sort of thing.

Like you said, it's very delicious watching them fail but it makes it tastier if you can try hard to succeed. Either way that might be a long ways off. But thank you for elaborating!

Nah, it's all cool. I get how it is writing something at first. You write and write, thinking it's super sick, but then you look back and realize how much you can improve on it, seeing themes and ideas that you could implement that simply didn't reveal themselves to you the first time through. Drafts are important for this very reason.

I'm glad you get what I mean, that's all I really needed to get across to you. It's fun watching the mc fail, but it's just a bit unfortunate that I have to click on the obvious fail option. It's more fun to click on the button I think is going to be an obvious win, but then the mc fucks it all up like the dork he is. I think you got that, and that's all that matters.
