I'd say not to trust any unfinished game to retain save compatibility between versions. This applies to all games that are in alpha, beta or even Steam's early access, regardless of the game engine used. But, most AVN players weirdly insist on not replaying from the start even if the dev made the game work better changing things under the hood.
AE S2 will be an unfinished game until MrK says "That's all folks". Let me repeat something I told in this thread earlier: MrK told me that AE will have two seasons. Not three seasons like (non-Steam) RTP had. Of course, it might change if he wants to keep on making AE.

I have some news for v2.4.0 development.
I recently had to reformat my "Work-PC" The one I create the scenes on and to the Photoshop work and coding. Basically a very over used PC. It was getting way too slow and needed this. This means I had to install all my apps and settings. So it's a bit of a slow down on progress for v2.4.0. BUT it's not a major issue. I've got this.
Work continues as it should. I am busy with 2 scenes one for Andrea and other Veronica.
Then once that is done I have to do another scene that is vital to the story progression.
So here's were are currently:

32 animations (more to come)
So yeah, i know I keep posting more this and more that but it's honestly all for the greater good. So just hang in there a bit longer.
